Chips and salsa are on point! That's how I know this is going to be a winner! Chose this place because ridge grill didn't have any other reservations available for dinner and so far so goood! We love trying new places and wanted good eats for our 4 year anniversary. Food was tasty and server was nice and attentive. We opted for inside since it was still hot out. But they did have live music outside, we wanted something more intimate so inside was a good choice.

If you like sitting outside, listening to good music, and good food, the Ridge Cantina is your place. Flies were an issue outside and the little spinners didn't help much. But overall, good place to visit

I was in the middle of getting my car serviced and all of a sudden it was lunch time. The dealership shuttled me there.I'd called ahead to see if I could have my dog on the outside patio. Once they said yes, I was on my way. I didn't go inside, but the patio area is very comfortable with overhead fans. I was so glad that it wasn't a blasting hot day.I ordered the Chilaquiles with the green sauce, Birria, and a side of black beans. A margarita completed the meal. It's been sooo long since I've had Chilaquiles, good Chilaquiles. It's a dish made of corn chips which are plunged and warmed in sauce. Plated, you can top it with just about anything. The trick is to coat the chips without letting them get soggy. This dish was PERFECT! Each chip was covered in sauce and still crunchy. The birria was tender and flavorful. The beans were cooked well. The margarita was smooth and tangy. My server, Nicole, kept an eye on us, since we were the lone diners on the patio. She brought Lucas a little dog biscuit, which he liked very much.I will be back, without Lucas, to try something else on the menu.

Paradigm shifting Mexican food; sensational salsas and magnificent moles. The two meals my wife and I had today, along with the salsas are dangerously on the edge of altering the Mexican food cosmos. The moles. The moles, wholly frikin' cow the moles. The descriptions from the menu: Mole Poblano -Prepared from Fresh Chile Poblano, dried Pasilla & Ancho Chiles, Nuts, Spices, Seeds, Abuelita Chocolate And:Mole Pipian - A Traditional sauce from Oaxaca Prepared from toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Tomatillos, Fresh Chiles and a myriad of Spices. My wife and I both had the Stacked Enchiladas ("New Mexican style Enchiladas" or in Texas "Enchilada Casserole.") For her Carne Asada w/ Mole Poblano and for me Shredded Chicken Adobo w/Mole Pipian. Rice on her plate, Mexican style corn on mine and black beans for both meals. The corn is amazing, do not pass it up. I could spend an hour assembling strings of adjectives to describe these meals. One word works; extraordinary! And the salsa, Wow. The house salsa is fair. Hiding in the kitchen are two others that you must try if you like good salsa. There is a smoky Chille de Arbol salsa and a green tomatillo salsa. The waitress brought us a sampling of each. We ordered a bowl of the Chille de Arbol. They cost extra, $2 a cup. My wife loved the green. The sample got her through this meal but next time it will be a bowl of each.I don't really care about what else is on the menu....I just don't care. It's a typical assemblage of some Mexican food. BUT........ those Chef Select Tacos, specifically the Red Snapper Tacos, Chile-seared or Char Grilled are working in my brain right now, like the Siren Song. Eat Stacked Enchiladas with a Mole at the Ridge Cantina! A nice comfortable restaurant, with outdoor dining. Great service today from Jenna.A little pricy, but this ain't a taco truck.

We really enjoy the Ridge Cantina Happy Hour. At the time of this review it's from 3-6pm (unsure if weekends are included). Drink and half price food specials. They typically have live music on the patio from 6-9pm. I believe our nachos were $7.50 and margaritas were $5 for happy hour. Always great service. Nachos are shareable size portion! Owner typically comes around to check on you as well.

I've had both good and just ok dishes. I haven't had a dish that makes me return. I do love their street corn as a side item. Went there Sunday for lunch and the service was slow and didn't multi task very good. I only gave her 10% tip. But I'll definitely give it another try.

This was our first visit and the Ridge Cantina is a next level Mexican restaurant. The dishes are awe-inspiring and made to perfection. Our party had the smoked ribeye stacked enchiladas, fabulosas fajitas, chili relleno, and shredded chicken adobo stacked enchiladas. Each entree was well seasoned and delicious. The service by Mia was excellent and attentive. The ambiance is one of feeling as if your family walking through the door. The owners were present and greeted people at the table side. We had an enjoyable dinner and the restaurant capped it off with a sparkler churro for my wife's birthday. Everyone in our party stated they will definitely return as the overall experience was beyond amazing. If you enjoy Mexican food, take it up a few notches and dine here.

The service was great! Our server was knowledgeable and courteous and quick with requests and to check on us. The menu selection was robust with many different dishes that included quite a few fish and chicken options as well - which I was pleasantly surprised to see. I ordered the street tacos and being vegetarian, got the black bean and corn and fried avocado. At our waiters suggestion, I added the fried onions to the top of the black bean and corn street tacos which really elevated the flavor. I do feel the black bean and corn street tacos did need a bit more flavor. I thought the black beans would be like their sides, with the sauce and spices. I did find these to be a bit bland, but were still good. The fried avocado street tacos though? AMAZING! I found out from our waiter that the coating on them was actually crushed Taki's and while it might seem like an odd combo, I can assure it works. Everything about this taco was perfect - from the coating to the sauce on top (not sure what it was but it added just the right 'zing' to it).We also had the appetizer nachos and they were good too! I'm usually not a fan of flour chips but these were crunchy and flaky without being greasy. And the complimentary chips and salsa were good too!The restaurant itself was vibrant and cheerful and I loved the painted image of Frida Kahlo on the women's bathroom door. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be back the next time I am in town!

The food had good flavor, we had the quesadillas, fajitas and street tacos. I ordered the load guacamole and all it needed was a little salt. Service was quick and our waitress was helpful and nice. The music wasn't real loud where we had to yell. Tables were clean.Over all nice place and very good food. Next time we are in town we will come here.

Let me put it this way - we first went here 5 weeks ago. Since then we have eaten there every week - and it doesn't get old. Taco Tuesday is our favorite. Such a variety of tacos - I personally am stuck on the carnitas and fish tacos. I've had their chili relleno with mole sauce and it's amazing. Service is excellent too. We've already become "regulars" and are greeted as such each week. Seating is great and the have patio seating and even live music on occasion. We prefer when it's not so hot outside.
