I really want to love this place because it's huge inside with an old school feel and the staff was incredibly nice. However, it lacked on a few key items yet still had some pros.Pros:- Chicken fajita meat was ample, juicy, and flavorful. - Queso was delicious. - Chips were great. - Staff from hostess to waiters were very kind. - Parking is easy and ample.Cons:- Rice tasted like packaged Uncle Ben's rice and thicker than the rice I usually receive at Mexican restaurants. Little flavor. - Refried beans were bland with absolutely no flavor. - Salsa had a heavy tomato sauce flavor. Overall, I may eat at this place again if I am nearby, but I would not go out of my way for it.

Seems people either love or hate Ricardo's...we love it! They have the best chili relleno I've ever had. I love their chips; not too thick, not too thin. I enjoy the salsa but I understand it's not everyone's favorite; I would describe it as tomatoe-y and mild. The tostados and queso are very tasty as well. We've always had great service!

It would be kind to say that the taco meat at this place tasted like dog food actually dog food would've tasted better. The meat was dry, bland and tasted old! The cheese sauce was nothing more than Velveeta, which had been melted and poured over absolutely everything. The green chili relleno was simply pieces of craned green chili wrapped in some kind of a thick dough. I've eaten extensively throughout the southwest, Mexico, and Central America. No one would sell this crap and call it Mexican food! I should have listened better to reviews!!

When placing a to go order always ask the price ahead of time as the web site prices likely are incorrect.

This place is great. Went there recently with my wife, daughter, and granddaughter. We all enjoyed it very much. Food was fresh and hot. Chips and salsa were SO GOOD. Tacos, enchiladas, and chili rellenos were excellent. Service was spot on. One of the best lunch experiences in Tulsa!

Tulsa classic. Not spicy. Just good food at a great price. Family friendly. Large areas for hosting parties.

We love Ricardo's. Always have. From way back in the day. We love their chile rellenos. Are they authentic? Real Tex-Mex? Don't care....Still love them.Also love their lunch special.Service has always been great. Was pleased to see that all the workers were masked and they were taking social distancing seriously. We will be back!

The food here is ghastly. Everything is either canned or bagged then microwaved. The margaritas consist of a flavor of vinegar & musky. I've had fresh homemade refried beans, rice, queso, salsa, at other places before. This does not say "Authentic". They may of been voted Tulsa's best margarita in the 1990's. But it's been years ago & a change in food quality amongst everything else needs an update. My wife and I didn't even finish our drinks, nor our entrees. After 2 bites our plates and drinks looked as full as they came. Not to mention, if you ask for a double shot. They don't know how to make it. But will give you an additional basic shot for 8.99.

I went in just after lunch for some food while i waited for my stepbrother to leave school. My server, a kind lady named Joyce was absolutely amazing. She was on top of her game, keeping my cup full and letting me order a lunch special out the time frame (by ten minutes). She recommended me many salsas and i throughly enjoyed my visit.

Service was good, food was extraordinarily bland. Hamburger meat had no seasonings whatsoever, just plain hamburger meat. Chicken on chicken salad had no flavor, salsa, queso and Chicken on chicken salad all tasted canned. No amount of salt added at table could help.
