Breast at Ray's was comfortable, enjoyable, and more pricey than most diners, but Ray did feel like an upgrade from most normal diners.Wait staff was helpful, professional, and engaging. The food was cooked as we requested, and the restaurant was clean and seating comfortable.

Ray's Café from the outside and inside looks like it was lost in the 60s don't let that stop you from ordering a great meal. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered a patty, melt coleslaw and a side of chili. My hubby ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. My patty melt and happy. Bacon cheeseburger were both delicious but my favorite was the chili.On Thursday evening from 4 to 8 they have a Ray's Persian night - a separate paper menu with Persian food.

I've only had breakfast here so I can't speak to anything else on the menu but this is a solid little hop-in-the-wall joint with great simple, cheap diner-style breakfast. Our server was really nice and for two people we spent less than $30 before tip for our food. This place will likely become one of our new staples for sleepy Sunday, greasy, hangover food.

This is a cozy little diner tucked in a somewhat sketchy looking corner of town-- don't let that stop you from going on in and enjoying the delicious food! The inside is very quaint and homey-- fresh flowers on the tables and some plants help a lot to liven up an otherwise pedestrian diner. We went on catfish night and were not disappointed! Would I say it was the best catfish I've had? No, but everything was really solid and the portions are large. They will refill your plate with catfish two times on Friday so come hungry! Side highlights were the onion rings, green beans (with a bit of fatback), and the herman slaw (cross between cole slaw and sauerkraut-- surprisingly tasty)! Would definitely come back here for the sweet waitresses, generous portions for a reasonable price, and of course the delicious sweet tea (a must for a diner).

4.5/5This is a true family business. The food is above average, price is below average, they are probably struggling financially and are unable to update the appearance of their establishment. They don't have a good online presence, and they are low visibility while driving around the area.Pretty good breakfast and lunch. Haven't been there for dinner

The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Food was good. We ordered typical breakfast fare. The omelette was fluffy and tasty. My husband had pancakes and eggs. He said the eggs were cooked perfectly. Both of us found the pancakes good but not great. I'd still order them again. In one review someone said the restaurant was in a sketchy part of town. I disagree, I found that it's in an older part of town. Therefore the feel is tired and needing updates. I felt comfortable in the area.

Excellent home cooking. Friendly service. Now on our regular rotation. Chicken fried steak dinner or sandwich are both great. Herman's coleslaw recipe but regular coleslaw also really good. Fried catfish special on Friday night.

We stopped in to Ray's for a mid-morning Sunday breakfast. What a nice place, with a homey atmosphere. Our server, was so sweet, as well as fast and efficient. I had a typical breakfast of bacon and eggs, along with oatmeal and hash browns. I especially liked the hash browns because they were shredded and cooked to golden, crispy perfection. Everything else was good, too. Connie was quick to refill my coffee when needed. The price was very reasonable. Next time I'm in OKC, I'll definitely come back to Ray's. Highly recommended all around!

An enjoyable old style cafe, good American food. They have good iced tea, which is important to me. Tasty taco salad. I have liked it every time I have visited.

Great cafe. Just like the hometown ones I enjoyed as a kid. Good food - tasty and fresh - friendly service. This is one I would recommend for friends to eat and chat. Breakfast is served all day and on Thursday evening they have a special Persian menu.
