She has asthma that the doctors keep under control.

This is a great veterinary practice! I had taken my animals to another local vet in the past but recently made the switch to Ranch Acres and was completely satisfied with my experience. Their prices are competitive and they are very kind and considerate to both pets and pet parents. Highly recommend!

Dr Cody and Dr Scott have diagnosed and saved my cats on several occasions. They are a small clinic with a warm atmosphere. They have Hill's Science Diet as well as a variety of flea and tick medicine. They do board pets and have animals for adoption.

Dr. Cody, Dr. Scott, and the entire staff are the best. I cannot imagine taking my pets to anyone else for their care or boarding. They have very convenient walk in hours on Friday afternoon and Saturday and the medical advise and treatment is accurate and reasonably priced.

I had taken my kitty there for years until recently, and I tolerated things I shouldn't have. My cat has a chronic condition and is seen frequently. She used to tolerate being seen until one day their resident kitty wanted to visit her, and even though he is really sweet, it freaked my cat out so much that she has extreme anxiety with going here. When I expressed concern, I was blown off. When I suggested a muzzle technique that had worked in the past to keep her calm and manageable, I was told "we don't do that here", even though I would have provided the muzzle. Then I was told that she has to be drugged every time she comes in. I completely understand that when you have an anxious kitty with sharp claws, something needs to be done to protect people, but why opt to drug that cat (which didn't even work btw) over a much safer and more friendly technique? Oh, because they are making $ from the sedative. Skip to recent- Her treatment wasn't working anymore so we were in the process of making changes. I went to pick up an antibiotic and something to ease her discomfort in the meantime. The pricing seemed different so I started asking questions, which somehow was a difficult thing to get the breakdown. And when I was told that her new treatment would be $180/month and that I couldn't afford that, instead of discussing other options, the vet told the staff not to sell me the other meds since I couldn't afford this very expensive treatment. I was in shock!! I can't believe that a vet would be so dispassionate about a suffering animal and put profit over everything. So now, my kitty has to suffer until her new vet appt. Also, when I told my mom about what happened she said she left this place also because she felt the vet was greedy. Maybe this place is fine if you have a simple pet and don't even question their pricing. But if there are complications they will make you leave. I saw it happen with an old man and his dog, with whom the vet was very rude to as well. I am so disheartened by place, and down on myself for putting up with it for so long. Don't make the same mistake I did. -Good luck out there!

Ranch Acres used to be a great place to care for all animals. Now they care more about the big profits. It's absolutely sickness me.

Terrible service and extremely rude people that work the office. After being told to come in my dog was forced to leave while bleeding badly. The doctor was still there yet about to leave meaning my dog had to leave even tho we were told to come in. When I was angry about the scenario I was treated horribly by the office staff

I was referred here after checking another vet that didn't have any openings for a bit. I figured why not check them out. I have a newly diagnosed diabetic cat which mean I'd be going to the vet VERY often. They are very cost effective. The same test and work they did costed me about $50 to $100 more back at my old vet. After taking her in for a routine checkup and finding out my little kitty has a sinus infection she ended up not feeling well. She ended up throwing up blood due to Ulcers in her esophagus and later to find out acid reflux. The vet told me about my options and always tried to find the cheapest but also the most effective treatment options. She seemed to truly care about my little girl and wanted to honestly find the root of why she isn't feeling better. We did have to get special testing done that was sent out to Texas A&M, but it truly wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. My little girls Diabetes is still not under control, but the vet is trying her hardest to figure out what insulin and amount works the best for her. Whenever I have to drop her off for her blood glucose curve I know she is in good hands! I truly recommend them. Lastly, they are very busy and you sometimes have to wait, but it is truly worth it! They are amazing and want the best for your animal!
