Treated our sweet dog like their own. Called to check on him after his passing, Bud our family's pug. Very kind with every animal we have ever had. Such a special place.

Do Not take your kittens/cats here. We have personally lost two now using their services. The first they vaccinated too soon as he was a found kitten, who was severely emaciated. The second died from complications after being spayed. We have used them periodically over my lifetime for dogs without incident, but they clearly are not cat people.

I can get flea medication for my dog and cat as long as I bring them in for a yearly checkup. Never had an emergency but for that reason I like them.

My chihuahua became sick on a week end, and we are not from Pryor.So, we chose Pryor Veterinary Hospital and was surprised to find them open on a Saturday without an extra charge... The care was fantastic and caring.Now, my chihuahua uses Dr. Meagan, and I absolutely love her. She is caring, smart, and easy to talk to. I live in Oklahoma City, but will continue to drive back just for her..Also, they are reasonable, and you don't need a second mortgage on your home just to see a Vet......

Our 16+yr old Corgi's health crashed on a Sunday evening & not being from the area trying to find a vet at 6pm in the evening is almost impossible. We found this Vet hospital by accident & the on call vet agreed to see him. We knew we would lose him, but the vet was compassionate, understanding & kind. She did so much to make him comfortable & we felt that she has a real gift with animals/pets. He passed quietly in my husband's arms with the vet by his side. She used ink to get a paw print & got us material to get him Cremated & his remains sent home. This is an outstanding clinic & a superb vet... we can't thank you enough, Dr. Cobble for all you did that night for Einstein & his grieving fur parents.

Pryor Veterinary Hospital is great about answering their phone quickly, and the ladies are friendly, helpful and most of all...respectful to you and your pets! Dr. McBride is very courteous and professional. He treats our horses compassionately and shows up when he says he will be there. If the farm call before you runs longer than anticipated, PVH is quick to call to let you know there will be a delay. PVH does not treat you like you are just an income to their business, they are in this for the right reason! They appreciate their clients, and you can tell that from the way they treat you! I GREATLY APPRECIATE EVERYONE AT PVH!!

My family used this clinic for horses, cows, pigs, and dogs when I was growing up. Now I use the clinic for our family pet. I believe they are very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. The office staff is also very caring and they are helpful when I call with questions.

Take your small animals here at your own risk. Okay for routine services but almost killed our dog after a botched spaying operation. Surgery was put off to late in day due to other emergencies, dog was returned to us still very sedated, in extreme pain all evening. When we noticed fluid build up took her back and were essentially laughed at and told we were not keeping her inactive enough. Steri strip was still secure after 5 days (probably glued on which is a no no), they didn't even remove strip and check the fluid etc. Next evening we had to rush her to Tulsa at 3AM as the infection actually ruptured the sutures, strip. $3,000 emergency surgery in Tulsa saved her. Pryor even botched putting down one of our other dogs, they had to leave room and go get more medicine as the first dose didn't do the trick.

Helpful and there when you need them! Cattle, dogs, and cats have all been treated well. They listen and answer my questions. Thankful they are in our communities!

Treated like your business means absolutely nothing to them!! Called to schedule appointment but they said they're not doing scheduled appointments yet (no problem, I understand the situation). Said just bring the animals and call when I arrive and they'll come out and get them. Okay...sounds good.What they FAIL to tell you is that when you call and let them know you've arrived, you AND your pets are left sitting outside, waiting in the parking lot, for 2 hours and 45 minutes!!!! Are you freaking kidding me! Like any business thinks it's okay to treat your customers like their time doesn't matter??A ONE STAR rating was being generous for this place!
