Prelude Breakfast Bar

Came to Prelude first time today. Craved pancakes. This places!!!! Awesome menu. Delicious food. Excellent service. Beautiful setting 5* all around.

The food is really good and flavorful, but I always feel overcharged at brunch places like this. Prelude now adds 22% service charge to all orders so you don't have to tip, and I think this reflects a bit in the service level. While I love the concept of paying service workers a living wage without forcing them to rely on tips, it seems to impact the hospitality a bit at Prelude. Our server did not check back in on us and when we asked for hot sauce she pointed us to where it was at the server station rather than getting it for us.The inside of the restaurant is cute. It's always busy on a weekend morning but I've never had to wait very long to be sat. Overall, I probably wouldn't visit again because I felt like I overpaid for a pretty average breakfast.

We went to Prelude Bentonville after seeing it on social media a few times. It took us a minute to find the place as we were looking for ac actual restaurant. Once we realized it was inside Scorch & Soda we went on inside. The food was pretty decent. My wife got a "pancake flight" of different pancakes. I think she was expecting the actual pancakes to be all different flavors but instead it was really just the toppings. I got breakfast tacos which were really good but nothing sooo special.

Food is consistently good! Busy, bright ambiance with natural light and plants. Service was friendly and prompt.

This place has gone down. Truly disappointing as the pancakes are amazing but everything else is so bad it's not worth it.

After checking the Yelp reviews, we were drawn to this breakfast spot with great recommendations. The images of pancake flights sealed the deal. The restaurant, though narrow, was charming with windows and delightful hanging plants. There is an outdoor seating option but the wait was more than we wanted to do. We ordered the flight and the eggs platter. The overall experience was fantastic. The pancakes were a highlight--especially the delightful orange variant, though every option was a winner. We're definitely planning a return visit.

This was our second visit to Prelude, the first visit the food was amazing and the service was mediocre at best but we could overlook it because of the food. Unfortunately today both were mediocre. I believe the Owner was there eating w her family and she jumped up to try and help but she wasn't able to take over all tables. We got coffee and while it was poured immediately we didn't get our creamer for 15 min and never was asked if we wanted a refill. Food was missing key elements and we were t made aware when we ordered. Very frustrating because we want to love this place.

Waiter smelled like a hung over drunk from night before. Food was average at best. 22% added mandatory tip to the bill added! Pay the workers yourself. Horrible and typical adjustment made by a profit greedy owner

Fantastic place to have breakfast/brunch! The pancakes and eggs Benedict are delicious. Everyone I've introduced to Prelude have absolutely loved it!
