Prairie Bakeshop

We were near the shop and popped in to grab a treat. The person working was so friendly, and everything looked so good that we wound up with an entire box of baked goods. The shop is super cute and had tons of seating. We got 4 different cookies, all of which are big with big flavor. We also tried the Gooey Butter Cake, which was incredible. I can't wait to go back to try more!

Hope a return visit merits more stars. Their offerings look amazing. We tried a blondie and a brownie. Flavor in the blondie was great but some might think it was a bit gooey. Brownie was a bit dry but frosting was good. They were huge slabs though. Definitely giving them another go soon.

I finally took the time to make a stop here after running a couple of errands. I am so glad I did! I've seen some posts and they looked very tasty but always seem to be on a diet lol. I grabbed a few different cookies but also wanted to try their cinnamon roll.good grief this is so good! Highly recommended. Wish I would've stopped in sooner. It is definitely a hidden little gem. Again, the cinnamon roll was so good. I had to stop eating real quick to post it or there would've been nothing left to take a picture of.

The quiche was just right. My husband gave the cinnamon roll and freshly ground coffee 5 stars. I took an Ooey Gooey bar to go, and it's really tasty, too. I will have to try some of the other yummy baked treats next time. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pristine with lots of paintings on the walls to draw your attention.
