Pirate Sand Bar

So happy to have stumbled upon this Eagle Rock gem They specialize in beer and hot dogs of all varieties. They even have vegetarian hotdogs that they will make in any style. My husband and I enjoyed the Chicago style veggie dogs served with a side of crunchy kettle chips. If you're lucky you might run into Miss Kitty and Cappy, The resident doggos. Chill vibe with Weekly bingo and A living room that reminds me of my mom's place in the 70s complete with pool table and acoustic guitar.

What an amazing surprise!!! Absolutely the best hot dog you will ever have. The owner is also the chef and bartender and she shared with us that they are ordered from an award-winning company in Kansas City. The chef made tomato basil soup which we also tried and loved. We are looking forward to trying the sandwiches on the menu made from local beef and also the veggie wiener! The decor in this place is so cool. Straight out of the 70's with a collection of retro lights, a great couch, and pinball machines.

My first time here. Very clean. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onions. The bun was deliciously unique. The dog and chili cheese were wonderful.I also tried the kettle chip nachos which were different ( bbq sauce on them) but surprisingly taste. The service from 1-5 was a 10+. We will be back. I refer the Pirates Sand Bar.

Fun place to grab a cold beer and unique hotdog. Everyone seem to be so friendly and the owners(Pat &Yma)are doing a fantastic job. Thank you for a good time ‍

My first time at the Sand Bar for trivia night and had a great time. Friendly atmosphere, friendly people, great service, good fun, and the menu is a hoot.
