Dirty wall switch. It's little, right? What does the kitchen look like and where else do you cut corners if this is the presentation?

I don't know how I have not reviewed this place yet since I have been coming here for years. Probably because I scarf all my food down before I can take a picture lol. Not tonight though! Was craving mussels & decided to DoorDash an order. Looked over the menu and went with two different kind - green and black; threw in a 1/2 lb of manila clams too. This spot has a variety of seasonings and heat levels to choose from. I always go with the 88 special because it's darn good but decided to try cajun on the clams. Wow, loved the cajun flavor and would definitely order this seasoning again (Maybe not the clams but probably because I favor mussels above all else). If you want to know about the mussels - the green is my favorite. Nice mild flavor, not too strong. I find the black mussels more robust in flavor and a little smaller in size. Really cant go wrong with either. Now when it comes to heat - you'll get absolutely nothing with a none or mild. A medium will give a little tickle and the hot will start to activate your sweat glands. Extra hot is some kind of will power I wasn't gifted with so I stay the heck away from it. Each 1/2 lb bag comes with one corn and one potato. I plated each bag so you can see the approx quantity you get with 1/2 lb (minus a few, I was so hungry). They have fries and wings on the menu which are yummy too. In my opinion I wouldn't say this is outstanding for seafood; a tasty, casual, run of the mill boiling house for family or friends. I recommend it for take out or dine-in. The employees are super sweet & the restaurant has always been clean when I have visited. Hot tip: bring your own disposable gloves if you want them to fit. They have a crazy big size that tends to make the meal extra messy. I would say decent pickings for a land locked state! ;)

Came here on a Tuesday night around 5:40 been to Pier 88 multiple times . Got seated very quickly and our waitress was so nice , she had great service. I found out they have an happy hour which I was very happy food and drinks ,it's Monday-Friday (menu is attached) . I got the famous low boil with the 88 special I had no complaints about the food. First time trying the 88 special it has a very slight kick. The only complaint was the bad smell in the restroom when I went .

Food was very tasty. We had one boiling pot which was excellent and the shrimp and oyster basket reminded me of New Orleans. Service was good. Need crab utensils but otherwise very good. And reasonable

The wings are so good, Actually. we got Cajun flavored. The wings are tossed in a bag, which is such a genius idea. The sauce gets all over them. Lots of sauce, delicious. almost better than Wingstop honestly. I got the country low boil and so did my friend and we both loved it. I got medium and felt like it's not that hot, like if you like Louisiana hot sauce, I would get hot. my friend got mild and did not find that hot either. Altogether, this was a lot of food for two people, but it was worth it. Also we went during happy hour and drinks were like four bucks. They pour just right! worth every dollar.Service is not bad. Very relaxed environment.

The food was good and affordable for 3 people. Got popcorn crawfish, 2 crab and shrimp boils, beers, and a cheesecake slice. The service was not very good. Arrived an hour before close and took about 10-15 min to even be seated. Two servers walked by multiple times and didn't even acknowledge us. They turned the music off 30 minutes before close just after we got our food and automatically brought our dessert out in a Togo container. They also played an announcement on the speakers to leave 5 minutes to close while we were still waiting for our waiter to come get our check. Felt very rushed.

Facts first:The atmosphere is great. The staff is super friendly. The food is great and you get more than enough for what you pay. This was a great lunch stop for my wife and I. I don't remember exactly what we had but it was a seafood boil combo with crab legs, shrimp, sausage, and a corn cob and potato. We got the 88 seasoning recommended from the server and it was a great blend of spice and flavor. We also had an order of hush puppies which were everything we hoped for in hush puppies! All in all, we had a great lunch for 2 for $30 and we didn't even finish all of the food! I am adding this place to my list of go-to places!
