I enjoyed the Pho. Ate the meatball and beef Pho. Delicious and enough for three meals. Only downside was the pop music station which was too loud for me and distracting enough that my time spent there was not pleasant except for the food. Music, I feel, should be in the background and sound like it's two rooms away. It hurt my ears and made me hurry to get out of there. Ate some pho but then got it "to go". Not fun.

The pho is the only thing that saved this review. The noodles were cooked well and the broth was pretty good. However, the pho does not have options for tripe (which isn't a big deal) but no options for tendons either? How is the pho broth being made? The "sriracha sauce" is straight up TACO sauce smh. You cannot be a pho joint and not even provide Sriracha sauce. Their "hoisin sauce" and "peanut sauce" also both tasted off. Last but not least, their spring/summer roll is a joke with HALF of ONE shrimp in it. I bought 2 and only finished one. It is sold by per piece. It was over stuffed with vermicelli noodles and a sprinkle of cabbage. They might as well not even put the shrimp in there (or offer it at all). I won't be going back unless it's my last resort for pho. What a joke.

Prob one of my least favorite places so far. The broth was ok, just a little off. I'm full. No garlic chili paste was a huge bummer.. wasn't a fan of the spring rolls.

This is now called Boba & Pho, but I'm sure it's run by the same people. 1.) The music was horrible the whole time, and certainly not Vietnamese.2.) The waitress was clueless. There was one other party there during the time we were there, and she brought us their crab rangoon. She couldn't bring us an extra plate for the dumplings appetizer, which she thought had pork in them, though the daily menu board clearly said they were chicken.3.) The food was perhaps on par with that of a mall food court, but that is being generous.4.) The waitress claimed they had no lemons for our water.

Friendly owner comes out from cooking to check on you and make suggestions. The best And maybe the largest spring rolls I've had in Joplin (see pics). Odd cover band pop and techno dance music playing seems out of sync with the food but it was fun for lunch. Service was fast and well portioned. I had the Pho steak and meatball soup which was perfect on a cold windy day. My wife had a pork and rice noodle dish with egg rolls on a bet of light and fresh vegetables. She made note of the egg rolls which doesn't normally like but thought these were very good All in all a great lunch. I can see this place being a weekly stop for us. Check it out!

My friends told me about Pham's Pho, and I'm SO happy they did!! The best pho I've had in a long time! The pho's rice noodles were al dente (i like it chewy), and the beef slices were so tender. I love how much herbs and beans sprouts they gave me. The bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) was very flavorful and zesty. The thicker rice noodles were also al dente, and the pork meat literally fell off the bone when I bit into it!We also ordered two of the egg rolls, but we ate them before I could take a picture sadly. The egg rolls were so light and flakey, and I really enjoyed the stuffing it had.The food was overall great at such good prices for the amount they serve you!

I'm not exactly sure where to put the star rating. I'll give them a 3 for trying. The main problem is what all restaurants have; not enough help. 2 people were trying to run the whole place so, it wasn't some place I would go for a quick lunch. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. It was a little bland but, with a liberal dousing of fish sauce and hoisin sauce, it was ok.

Visiting this place a few months ago, circa August 2023. Love Vietnamese food, and as a fellow viet myself I love bun Bo hue. The service was decent, however not to judge but the waitress seemed frazzled and not really someone I would like dealing with my food. Nonetheless, I ordered the bun Bo hue, and considering how close it was to closing time the food took an 40 min-hour to come out!!!!!! And to add onto that it wasn't even bun Bo hue! I am viet so I know what I am talking about.. it was simply pho with spice added! So much spice I could barely finish it, my mouth was in pain, and I have a high spice tolerance. I get it was close to closing time and maybe the owner did not want to make it, (the waitress mentioned he was the one cooking), but you could of told me to ordering something else instead of giving me something I did not order, expecting it was correct. Was extremely disappointed, wont be returning.

If you haven't been, you need to. We used to go to the other place in town but after a couple times of really bad pho full of oil on top, we stopped. Good pho should always be a lighter broth with less oil/fat on top. That means they have skimmed the fat that boils out of the bones from the top of the broth. Pham's pho tastes just like how my family does theirs and this little restaurant always makes me feel like I'm stepping back into my parent's kitchen. I have also tried their egg rolls, fried rice and Vietnamese coffee. All tasted just the way it should. This is my go to place whenever I'm missing home.
