Don't like the 4% charge for credit cards. Prefer businesses who factor that expense into their pricing.

What I like the most is that I can trust my dog to these groomers. Baxter got some cuts at another grooming salon. A dog was actually killed by another local groomer who was videotaped punching the dog and then strangling him. I am careful who I take my dog to. What I don't like is that they charge extra for using a credit card. We almost never use checks and don't carry much cash. It's inconvenient to have to get cash to pay for grooming. I typically avoid businesses that charge for using a card.

These ladies do wonderful work!! We have a shitzu and he is always a mess when he arrives but beautiful when he leaves. We leave his hair long, so it's not easy!! The 1st time he got razor burn but after letting them know they've adjusted accordingly with great results.

My friend took her dog here hoping for a good experience. While the cut turned out well, no vax records were requested and the dog came home with a bunch of flees. Not cool.

I wish I could rate this place at zero stars. My best friend's grandparents have been taking their toy poodle to this place for the past five years, and so I called them to schedule an appointment for my 4-month old poodle. I've never been able to have a pet before due to my extreme allergic reaction to them. This 6-pound poodle turned out to be the first pet that I could be around without breaking out in hives and having my throat close up, even though it still requires daily allergy medication. So, I felt so blessed to finally be able to become a dog mom. Having said that, I'm very protective of him and have separation anxiety during grooming appointments. I explained all this to the lady that answered the phone, to which she showed no compassion or understanding whatsoever. I also told her that the groomer I used before allowed me to check him in at 7:30 am and wait in the lobby for an hour until he was ready to go home. The only reason why I wanted to take him to another groomer was because that lady can't do teddy bear haircuts on poodles. I asked the lady at Patty Terri's Grooming if I could bring him by at 7:30 am and wait while he got groomed, even if that meant me paying an upcharge. Her response was, "Well, this is standard practice at most places to leave your dog for a few hours to get groomed. Our check-in time is between 7:30 am and 10:00 am. If you bring him by then, we can have him done by noon, and you can wait outside." Based on what she had just literally said, I asked, "So, I can bring him by at 10:00 am and pick him up and noon?" Her response couldn't have been more short and insensitive, "No." She sounded annoyed when she said that. You'd think as someone who deals with pets on a daily basis and claims to love them, she'd at least attempt to sound a bit understanding of my fear of separating from my baby. So, I responded, "I was afraid you'd say that. In that case, I'm not ready to do that yet and will call back if that changes." She just said, "Alrighty." Considering how insensitive and disinterested she sounded during our phone conversation, I highly question whether she'd treat my puppy with kindness. If you want any new business, you might want to have somebody else talk to your prospective customers, preferably a person without an attitude that sounds judgemental and rude. Take your pets elsewhere!
