Pancake Hut

My order was to go and was breakfast it was just like grandma used to make hot delicious and homemade even the gravy which is so rare these days. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

This is a great little hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop place we like frequenting. Pricing and portions are reasonable and normal sized-not the oversized versions served in a lot of places to where you overeat, overpay and have leftovers you probably end up giving to the dogs. Favorite go-to is the mini breakfast. They often have lunch specials that are typically old fashioned, home cooked style casseroles types (like beef goulash) which is such a nice change of pace compared to choices you get at mainstay chains. The gals are sweet. If you are the type that like to support the little guys, eat here for a solid home style breakfast and no frills/fancy lunch.

The food was good the dishes where dirty. I was going to eat at the restaurant next door but I decided I'll have breakfast at this lil hometown dinner. The people or nice had a good conversation with a couple of the locals. I would have given this place 5 stars but my spoon and fork where filthy.

Great breakfast, service, and value. Plus they have really weird coffee carafes! Most of their meals include coffee, which is where you usually get fleeced when you get breakfast.

Boo. Ordered 3 blueberry pancakes and only got 2. While waiting and buttering my lonely 2, I flipped it over to discover completely raw batter. Server took it back and I could hear the cook argue this fact. Eventually got my pancakes back, appeared the cook put my original ones back on the grill, burned them and then for my third he was kind enough to place cold blueberries on top of my third pancake. And they charge $2.19 for blueberries!!!! Had to beg for butter and coffee refill. Ugh just no. Screw this place, never ever again. And don't order soda bc for $1.50 you get a can with no refills.

On our cross country road trip we found this little place. I ordered ham with scrambled eggs, pancakes and a cup of coffee. I only enjoyed the ham, all else was not tasty to me, not even the coffee! Everyone seems super friendly. One huge turn off was that the waitress fingernails were filthy, like wow.

No one who worked here knew what was going on. Admittedly one of the servers said they were having problems but it took 10 minutes to get a menu , a little more to get our order taken & 45 minutes to get our food. My patty melt was dry & overcooked. I asked for fried onions & they were raw. My home fries were terrible barley cooked. I would never eat here again. I actually want to give it zero stars.

Beautiful old school service, good food feels like am at home with grandmas cooking. Definitely would come back!!
