Big store, lots of expensive plants, however my biggest complaint as a plant person, ... ALL of the plants are WAY under cared for. It's a sad state. The store is fairly large, the front being the main store and a back area where I assume they teach classes of some sort. It had tables and chairs with materials on the tables, looked instructional. The front center of the store, they had a large table with built in tubs, each with a different medium or accessories, looks like an areas to plant your plants in pots and decorate them, tho I wouldn't recommend the decorations. Ok, no the sad part, the poor, uncared for plants. They look good on the surface, but look a bit closer and then you find the issues. First the uber evident, there are NO catch trays under these pots. No water stains on the pretty tables they keep the plants on. With this many plants, how exactly are they watering them? Every other store in the industry either has water catching tables, glass tops to easily clean, or catch trays for the watering process. These plants all had none. Feeling the soil, they were extremely hydrophobic. You could press your finger in an inch or tow and there was absolutely NO moisture. These plants are planted in extremely dehydrated soils. Even further down, the soil was to loose and dry, as tho these plants hadn't been watered since they were potted, which who knows how long that is. Going further, the leaves on several of the plants were showing the dehydrating of the plant. Leaves didn't look healthy, stems and petioles were weak and sagging, especially on the higher water need plants. Alocatia's require a good steady source to keep soil moist, these are Rain Forrest plants, not desert plants, yet they were sad plants since they've had no water. The staff, let's just say they stayed to themselves. One person said "Hi" when we entered, but after that nothing. Prices, I'll admit they were a bit varied. The sales were maybe just below normal retail, the more sought after plants, which were actually minimal, were a bit more, especially considering you're getting an unwatered plant that is already taking damage, transport it home and it'll will go into shock and lose leaves and weaken stems. At which some folks may toss the plant, as opposed to the more versed plant lovers know to care for it wait for it to grow after it's initial shock and restart, as plants do. However, if the store staff knew how to properly care for these plants, this shock would be minimized and plant damage would be less. It's a sad state inside this store. I would not recommend buying these plants at these prices. There are other locations that sale the same items, even Lowes and Home Depot often get the same foliage in stock for less cost, and they are generally healthier, plus Lowes those stores carry a warranty for most plants in case they do go south.

Stopped by Paloma's Plants to see what was in store & was blown away! There was an amazing selection of common, semi-rare, & rare houseplants along with many plant accessories to choose from. I left with a beautiful flowering string of pearls, my mom picked up some little succulents, & my grandma bought me a disco ball planter. Will definitely be back!!

I decided to copy my google review to yelp since the owner made such a bad impression on me. Went in and walked around, surprised how many plants looked like rehabs and they were the most expensive! Picked up a small alocasia and absolutely fell in love with it. Carried it around and went to check out, then was told "sorry this one is 'labeled wrong' and not for sale." Why was it on the shelf then? Prices are way more expensive than most people are selling for online, just not worth it to go anymore. I had been coming since the store was opened, prices are WAY higher and you're paying 2-3X for plants that are rehabs. The alocasias were INFESTED with spider mites, please keep you collection safe and don't shop here! I won't be coming back. I'm all for local business, but not highway robbery!Below is an edit to my google review because the owner decided to say it was "false and outlandish, her response is attached to the photos." Just stay away, no wonder she can't keep an employee, I doubt working for her is a joy. Just look at the response she left on the 2 star review below mine! She's only nice if you're going to give her money. I don't support her attitude, instead of responding with grace she chose sarcasm! The alocasia I picked up had 3 1.5" leaves, I saw it first tucked away on a shelf on the wall with plants that were just sticks in pots. I noticed the spider mites webbing on one of the alocasias with live mites crawling and actually pointed them out to my husband as an example of a bad infestation. I love to pick underdog plants and when we turned around I saw 3-4 larger dragon scales. My husband asked if I'd rather have one of those and I chose the tiny plant (18$) over the larger more full ones (21$) because I wanted to nurse her back to health. (I spoke to my husband about making the offer of 15$ before reaching the counter and asked if she said no to the discount would I still want the tiny 18$ plant and I said yes). Once I got to the counter I asked if she would accept 15$ for the tiny plant because the other ones were 2-3x the size, she grabbed it and looked at it and said no because it was "labeled wrong" and not available until it "got bigger" she said that she thought it was a corm grown variegated dragon scale (had ZERO variegated mind you!) Unlike the tiny one leaf 150$ dragon scale on the same shelf that looked like it was on its last leg. (Go look on Etsy, theirs at least are fuller and actually are on Black Friday sales and look healthier). I was going to mention the mites but I don't work there and after just being told that I couldn't buy the plant I was already very much looking forward to, I completely forgot to mention them. We just left and I decided to add to the bad reviews because my experience was so soured by the owner on top of being disappointed looking at overpriced dying plants! I won't be only not going, I will be recommending the many people I suggested to check out Paloma's of my experience to not go back and make it a point to tell people I know are interested in plants to never visit this place. The suggestion that I wrote a bad review over $3 is absolutely ridiculous, I wrote a bad review because the plants are 1. Overpriced for what they are 2. VERY poorly taken care of 3. For the bugs that inhabit your plants. (Personally I went home and washed my clothes to not transfer anything ) I have been constantly disappointed at the poor management! Get a humidifier and put your anthuriums in a cabinet for goodness sake, if they're going to be 200-300$ at least have one leaf that's not turning brown, crunchy and falling apart. Go check on your jewel orchids too on the bottom shelf by the play area, they are literally sticks in moss. The only healthy plants you have in shop are the ones coming directly off the truck! You have bitten off more than you can chew and the maintenance is too much! At least if the plant is half dead considering giving someone a discount because paying full price for a literal rooted stick is ludicrous!

Paloma's is the BEST place to go for rare and exotic plants to fill your space and transform it into a jungle! She also offers many different supplies you'll need, including Fox Farm soil, which is a must for aroids. Paloma is also very knowledgeable and helpful with choosing the right plant. I love this place. Highly recommend!

Good plants but oh my goodness, the prices! So expensive. Can find the same quality plants elsewhere for way better prices. They had a sale last weekend but, even with sale prices, I walked in and walked right out. Would love to see this place succeed but I don't see how they will make any sales at the current price points.

I moved in February of this year, submitted my order to you in April from my new address. The claim that I moved and did not forward my new address is false. Your claim about trying to reach out to me is also false, my telephone number was listed on my order. What about my numerous calls to you that went unanswered? None o this situation was my fault.Be that as it may, you did the right thing and provided me with a full refund - which I appreciate. Thank you. I will try to remove my initial review.

Where do I start with Paloma's?! First, love Paloma herself. Such a kind heart. Second, she fits so many unique plants in such a small space... honestly have to walk around the store 8 times before I felt like I saw/noticed all of the plants. Third, she has so many rare plants... plants I've never seen in a physical store and only seen online. I can't wait to save up enough to buy one from her! Fourth, I LOVE my plant!! honestly, best price ive seen for this Begonia.. I cant get enough.
