A fever dream of Bukowski characters stumble in and out of this downtown bar. It's a surreal experience. But everyone was friendly on my visit. The bartender was great. The music was good. The booze was cheap.

Well I guess you get the kind of bar to expect when you go to certain areas. I guess unfortunately for this bar it was one of those areas. Super plus the beers are $2.75 somewhat unheard of in a downtown location. BUT the homeless people walking in made me a little apprehensive as a single woman by myself. The bartender handled it confidently so I assume she is used to this. Extremely smokey....everyone there was smoking. Even for the cheaper beer doubt I will be back.

Great little dive bar if you happen to be headed tone BOK Center. Not a lot of seating but we've always managed to find a place to be.2 pool tables if you're a player and good drink and beer prices. This is a smoking bar and the air can get a little heavy at times.Stop by after the concert and show your ticket stub for a free beer or shot.......at least according to our waitress tonight.

This is the best goddamn bar in Oklahoma, let alone Tulsa. I spent the better part of an evening in this little corner of heaven, got locked in after close, and met some of the most hospitable and vibrant folks you could hope to have the pleasure of passing acquaintance. The drinks are cheap, you can smoke inside, and the juke box plays all night long. Frankly I'd rather not know the person who had an unkind word to utter about this place. Orpha's Lounge is the oldest bar in down town Tulsa and I can see why: quality stands the test of time.

Such a great spot! The staff was exceedingly friendly and welcoming. Theresa was working the bar when we arrived, and although my friends and I didn't know any of the patrons, we were received as regulars. Would absolutely reccomend (especially for those from out of town)!

The perfect dive bar, and Emily is the perfect dive bartender. We walked in looking for a cheap beer and local flavor as we passed through town on a recent road trip. We found that and more. Never change, weird Tulsa.

We were in town for a wedding at the Mayo. We did not want to drive back to Dallas so we reserved a room there. After the wedding and reception, we wondered down the street and found this place. My first hint that it would suck was the homeless panhandlers outside their door. Walked past them and had a seat at the bar. Two men were playing pool, and the bar was obviously stacked with regulars. We ordered our drinks. Just as we were being served, the two men playing pool stopped playing midgame. One sat to the left of my wife, and the other sat to my right. They stared straight ahead. Didn't socialize, and were not welcoming. It was obvious to us they were not pleased that we were there even though we were very friendly to them and to our bartender. We got up and left. The smoke is thick but it didn't bother us. I smoke cigars, so I'm used to it. The jukebox was playing some good rock. We were ready to settle in and enjoy a chill night. And spend money. Went back to the Mayo and told our Tulsa friends where we went. They told us we were lucky to get out with my billfold and our watches. Shared beer and vodka in the Mayo lobby for the rest of the night. I've been to dive bars and biker bars all over the country, and this was by far my worse experience. I guess it's awesome if you're a regular. First requirement seems to be that you have no more than 10 teeth in your mouth.
