Orient Express

Delicious! My favorite Chinese food ever, anywhere. They're quick and efficient on the phone and in person. The food is always ready on time and the person manning the counter is always nice and helpful immediately when I walk in. It's also a pretty good value for the money. The portions are large enough that you essentially get two meals out of one order. Definitely enough to share with a partner or friend!

Always a great place to order from! All the staff is always nice and friendly! The food also tastes better than the others I've tried locally!

I ordered for take out from orient express today, the cashew chicken lunch specials, the food was awful the chicken was so hard and like it's been sitting around, the rice was no taste whatsoever, very little cashew sauce, the food was terrible, the last several times the food has not improved, I spent enough money for this slop. No more business here, going somewhere else

So, we first tried Orient Express in Webb City. I was ok but, too far. We were told about, the one in Joplin so, we've tried it twice now. Both times, I've ordered the same thing, Mongolian beef, with fried rice and Crab Rangoon. The Mongolian Beef both times, tasted like the meat was old! The Crab Rangoon,way too much cream cheese! Not even enjoyable! The Webb City location, I had Pepper Steak, same story!. The green peppers were soggy and slimy, the Crab Rangoon is the same, too much cream cheese. They are always, pretty busy though. As, I've said many times before. By and large, the restaurant's in Joplin mostly suck. But, what's amazing too me. The people, continue to patronize the establishment's!PS. This review was done while sitting on the toilet expelling last nights $24. Dinner! Beware!

This is a late posting we ordered through Grubhub for Orient express and the food was excellent more larger portions than what we thought so we had leftovers for another meal.

They used to have some of the best Chinese food around. But lately it's not been the best. And by lately, I mean the last 5-6 years. Add that to their increased prices over the years and the fact that a much better place opened a few blocks away, and I really don't waste my time here anymore.

Best Chinese in Joplin and the surrounding area. We love their Chinese Cashew Chicken and Rice

Ordered the General chicken (delivery) but what I received was General Onion. Not worth the money for what I received.

Very good. We stopped here on a road trip and we're pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was decent but not the cleanest. The service was good and some what quick. I ordered the chicken lo mein which was wonderful but very filling. I would recommend stopping by.

Always prompt, attentive to special needs and courteous. The food is consistent and tasty.
