This place is weirdly delicious! Being part of a gas station I did not expect that quality, but was pretty impressed. My parents brought me here the other night and I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and Mac. My husband got the fish and loved it! Everything was cooked perfectly, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly! We will definitely be back and don't pass up this place because you think it's going to be typical gas station food, not the case at all!

We were out late & this place had surprisingly good reviews & maybe that's for normal business hours. It's inside a gas station, not that it's a problem but it would've been good to know. The place is pretty clean for a gas station too. Well, we arrived after 10 with a group of 7 & there was plenty of seating. However, it looked like there was one cook & one person working the bar top area. I grabbed a table & a gentleman at a booth said to me he had been sitting there for 45 mins & no one had approached him. Then we overhear another person that was with a big group asking if he could just have the ticket book & he would take his tables order for them.... We had a long drive home & we were hungry so we decided there were too many red flags at this place & decided to go to Wataburger instead. I would NOT recommend going to this place late at night even though it says they're open 24hrs.

Unassumingly laid out inside of a gas, this place was actually a full service restaurant. It's an open air design with booths, tables or counter seats. Large sized beverages served In the old red Coca Cola plastic cups. Pretty standard American fare so went with the regional dish, fried catfish with onion rings and slaw. It was lightly breaded and fresh. Solid lunch meal but next time would opt for something else than the slaw. Other quick serve options in the gas station to grab and go.

Location is inside of the travel plaza to the left when you walk in. The space is open and there's plenty of tables, with an open kitchen concept. Seat yourself when we arrived, not sure if it's like this when it's busy. The menu includes a variety of truck stop, comfort food options. We came for breakfast. Ordered a breakfast burrito which was okay. It was missing some kind of sauce. Also ordered steak and eggs. The steak was terrible, burnt and flavorless. Coffee was awful. Service was scarce. The best part about the place is how clean it is, but that's because the travel plaza is brand new.

OMG BBQ, Lowell, ARNeeded a quick lunch and decided on BBQ. Pulled OMG up on Yelp, when we got there surprised to see it was a gas station. Skeptical but hungry went in. Very spacious, great A/C and friendly wait staff, clean, great food. BBQ is cooked outback in a real pit. We had the pulled pork and brisket combos with onion ring sides.Buns and food was fresh, hot, and delicious! We like that the sauce is served on the side - why you ask? Because some BBQ joints will slather on the sauce to cover up so-so BBQ. Not here. Meat was fork tender and a "good bite". I recommend OMG BBQ

My wife and I went here for dinner this evening. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW. By the time we finally got our dinner we had them box it up so we could just take it to go. The food was not great either. My wife had the BBQ baked potato and I had the BBQ plate with pulled pork and brisket with baked beans and fried okra. They offered a choice of yeast roll or Texas toast, I ordered the toast, I got the roll. The baked beans were about average. The brisket and pulled pork were not good at all. The pulled pork was very dry. The brisket was tender but was more fat than anything. Neither of them had much flavor. It was almost like eating oven baked "barbecue". It wasn't worth the wait, and definitely wasn't worth the $40 we spent for a sit down meal we couldn't even sit down and enjoy.

Let's just say, if you get Kylie G. as your waitress, just turn around and leave. Very rude, unwelcoming, very pissy look on her face because someone showed up and made her work.Employees eating behind the counter while working.Others just standing around. Waited over 20 minutes to get a drink refill.Food was like warm at best. Definitely had better from many other local locations.

Arkansas is referenced as the Diamond State for good reason. It is the only state in the US to be a Diamond producer. That said there are many other gems hidden throughout the state and Ozark Mountain Grill is definitely one of them. Hidden in plain sight inside Workman's travel plaza in Lowell AR. Similar to the old filling station sandwich shops of the distant past but with a very modern make over. Fast, friendly service in a family atmosphere and excellent Americana fare served fresh from the grill is one of the many facets of this unique gem. In addition to down home country breakfast offerings are everything from the Pig Mac (lotta burger) to smokehouse BBQ. They even have a burrito bar. What's not to love. The portions are generous, the folks are polite and courteous. It is not inexpensive for comfort food, but then again we are talking about a true gem of high quality.
