The good:Greasy spoon. The omelet was great, hash browns crunchy and the waffle was hot and covered in strawberries. The waitress came around with coffee ask the time.Really large booths and plenty of seating. Great air conditioning.The bad: There was a rotten animal outside and it was really unappetizing. I requested someone remove it. I don't think it should have taken someone to ask to go that. The staff did clean it up at that point.

The reviews weren't terrible and the pictures of the food looked yummy so we decided to give it a try. My first impression upon entering the place was that it was crazy smoky. Not from cigarettes mind you, but from whatever had been recently burned in the kitchen oven. It made my eyes water it was so bad. Service was not wonderful, and the tables were sticky. The meals were enormous, and the food wasn't bad, but the flies were. Prices were okay, which would explain the elderly set frequenting the place. Even though the food was decent, we'd skip this one moving forward as everything else about the place just screamed health code violations out the ying yang.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Good folks and they work so hard. Hot coffee is always filled to the brim and the food is delicious and fresh. The price is incredible and it so affordable to feed our family of 5. If the wait seems long don't worry cause the staff gets tables ready super quick. Good home style cooking and hospitality!
