It is "June's". All of the staff are friendly, food is delicious and the restaurant is cleaner than majority in Okc or Tulsa!!
The pies are homemade and made fresh daily!!
a hamburger and fries
Fried green tomatoes were burnt. Should have been golden brown and not greasy.
people sitting at tables
If you want good chicken, go to Junes.
The restaurant is extremely clean
The homemade macaroni and cheese is unbelievable. Salmon salad is so fresh, so many new amazing items right in the heart of a small town!
a plate of food
Too much better on baked potatoe. Should have put in small container and customer could decide how much they wanted.
Asked for plain cheeseburger. Should have prepared new burger instead of scraping off mayo and slapping it back together.

Let's start with the décor...It's nice, but that's where the complainants stop. Junes did a remodel, and that was good, but Junes is stuck in all other areas. The food all comes from frozen packages or a can. It's like school Cafeteria food.Made from scratch only exist with the pies. The owners need to understand that they can still have the same great menu, but learn to do it "made from scratch". Bring in a real restaurant chef for two or three days to train the current staff on how to cook and how run a real made from scratch kitchen. It would even be cheaper and lower the food cost for the owners. The owners need to watch three or four episodes of Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine. They'll soon very quickly figure out that they need help. The lunch and dinner service(especially on Sundays) is awful. You could possibly wait up to an hour before you get a plate of food. There's no real front of the house leadership and I doubt there is in the back either. This could be an absolutely amazing restaurant, but it's still stuck, and I bet the owners won't admit it. Hire a restaurant consultant to come in and help make the badly need improvements that this place needs in order to be amazing. Embrace change. Don't be afraid of it. They changed the décor, now they need to change the rest of it.Hopefully they see this as constructive criticism and not an attack.

This place was great until the parents retired and turned it over to their daughter quality of food and service has gone downhill. Instead of homemade it's frozen. Food is either burnt, cold, or wrong when you receive it, not to mention other things. Bad experience will not eat there again or recommend.

June's is a great little diner. I have rated it based upon the food and service, both are excellent. I think you have to take this place for what it is: it's home cooking. It's simple, straight forward, basic food that is well prepared and great tasting at a low price. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, don't come here. If your looking for a quick, low cost meal, this is the place for you. We have enjoyed coming to June's whenever we visit Holdenville.

My understanding is the locals call it June's?So you can gas up,get some snacks or have a set down meal.its convent.. but the food is pool and service is friendly when you can get the server away from her gossiping friends long enough to wait on you!the food may have been better if it hadn't been cold.I didn't see what the big deal was about this place,it was forgettable. No I want be back....

The breakfast there is great. I love the pancakes, which are the size of a plate. A silver dollar pancake there would be a regular size elsewhere. Service depends on who is working. I do have my favorite waitresses. When they work you don't have to wait long on anything.

Ordered a simple kitty chicken salad and a "working man's" baked potatoe to go. No salad dressing and potatoe had slop of brisket in it and nothing else. Sorry working man.

dirty, slow service, expensive, creepy restrooms, over priced, holdenville water could kill you (that's what they make the tea and coffee out of), and I used to eat there all the time but will never eat there again. It is just too nasty backed with too expensive, and the last time I was there I waited 45 minutes to get served. Go to David's Minimart on Hinkley and have some fried chicken; its cheaper, tastes better, served quickly, and David's is clean with an actual restroom with soap and a way to dry your hands. Or, try Adairs Drive in at 210 E. Main, it is cheap, fast, and cleaner that Junes; no restroom though....weird eh? If you are passing through, starving to death, parched, and everything is closed but Junes, I would just starve.
