Old Street Diner

Friendly staff and wasn't rude which we appreciate!I asked if the biscuits are homemade , which they are and very good!My spouse and I ordered omelettes (veggie and western) and both are really good .We will be back.

Found this diner while looking for something other than the two Amish places. The service was quite quick. I got two eggs, over easy with bacon, home fries and biscuit with gravy. The food came out fast and was great. The server checked on me regularly and was kind. Marking this down for my next trip to Chouteau.

We've stopped here a few times over the years, not sure why I've not reviewed them- anyway. This is a very cute restaurant just off the highway, gravel parking but plenty of room to park. When you first go in, be ready, this is a small town and a local favorite. You WILL be stared at, a lot. I like to walk in, let them all look me over, then find a place to sit (it's a seat yourself place). Over the years we've tried many of their items and have yet to be disappointed. Their meatloaf is amazing!!! I recently tried the hot hamburger and instead of fries I had country potatoes. I think that's what they called them, I call them fried potatoes. I really liked the smaller potatoes on it, made it easier to eat. My husband orders eggs often and has not had a issue with them being burned or dried. Definitely a great place to stop for a home cooked meal that won't upset your stomach- very important if you're traveling through, or break the bank!

This diner is off the freeway and just far enough over that I bet this place is mostly visited by locals, but close enough so that it is easily accessible but frequently overlooked by travelers. Locals may not want this gem known and outsiders cramming up their favorite restaurant but what can I do but apologize to them as I out this place as having exceptional food and service. It isn't anything fancy on the inside, but it's clean and the food is just awesome! Skip the fast food and swing by here, you won't be disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive, and watch for their daily specials. The pork cutlet was awesome.

Great breakfast! And my friend had the pork chops and said they were delicious too! There were only three pieces of pie left, but it was almost 3 (closing time) on Sunday afternoon. We will go back just for pie and coffee later this week. They are open on Thursday and Friday evenings.

My meal of chicken tenders and fries were good and hot but the onion rings my husband got came out cold although they were homemade and looked good. Overall I'm sure I won't get him back

I was passing through looked on google for a place to eat. I found this cute place and ordered breakfast to go. Supper friendly staff and a great breakfast made with fresh ingredients. The over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection.

The breakfast was good but the onions were amazing! Good service and breakfast all day long!

Great food and friendly service. We will definitely stop here again. Such a cute small town diner.

It is what it is, a classic diner. Food is good, ice tea is good, and the service was great. If you're into diners this is the real deal.
