Okie Joes Bbq

First of all, this place was clean! From the window sills to the bathrooms, my hubby and I, who are both professional cleaners, were impressed!The staff was very nice and patient as we took a long time deciding what we wanted. I got the rib dinner with beans and coleslaw. Ribs were tender, hot, smoky and juicy! Sides were tasty! He got the baked potato loaded with brisket and sliced hot links, cheese, sour cream and ranch. Heavens to Betsy! That was so good!We usually go to Wright's in Johnson for our barbecue needs. (Yes. Needs.), but this is our new favorite place! We will be back!!

Disappointed. So good last time pre-pandemic. Not as good this time.Turkey, potato salad are good, and good snappy pickles. Brisket was tired, and dry. Rib was not very smokey. $45 with tip.

10/10 great service and amazing food! everything on the menu is great and the specials are even better. I love BBQ and this spot does it right.

This is one of my favorite stops for Bbq. Today was the Okie Pig dinner w/ two sides bbq beans and potato salad. The service and atmosphere is five stars and of course so is the Bbq!

Okie joes is a local BBQ joint in the middle of Stilwell. They're pretty reliable, I've only had a few instances of a wrong order in the years I have ordered from there. They have built out their dining areas, and recently included a patio dining area. The restaurant and bathroom appears clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and now have a drive thru take out area. The super okie potato is super yummy, I love pulled pork and hot link. They use Mountain View brand hot links, which are always delicious. The lack of stars is due to their lack of social distancing or masking during the COVID-19 pandemic. They never mask, even though they're in close proximity to numerous patrons a day (which rarely mask either). I used to come by about once a week on my lunch break, but I've only been back a couple times this year.

Every time me and my family would walk by Okie Joe's we would go in and order our dinner and go home and eat or sometimes we would go in and eat dinner. I would recommend it to anyone that loves BBQ food.

Does not implement any COVID precautions! No distancing observed. No one had a mask or face protection. No hand sanitizer provided or used. I was going to get take out on my way through town, but walked out as soon as I saw the number of people and the dangerous conditions. PLEASE DO YOUR PART TO SAVE LIVES!

Amazing BBQ!! Best ribs ever and the staff which I have a bunch most were family, are happy, smiling and kicking out the good stuff. I was so glad to see the smoke pouring from the smoker when I was pulling down the street in search of lunch. WOW! Such a blessing to have found this great place after a beautiful remodel. You guys are killing it!! Keep it up. Thank you so much, it was so delicious and couldn't have been better.

Visiting Stilwell for the first time, and tried this BBQ spot. The service was wonderful. Polite staff. Received my food quickly. The restaurant itself had a comfortable feeling, very clean. I ordered the two meat combo:Half order ribs, brisket, coleslaw and corn. Everything was DELICIOUS! I did add bbq sauce to my brisket but oh my goodness those ribs were so tasty. The Smokey flavor was wonderful. I definitely recommend!

Charges almost $2 more per plate for a credit card payment and charges full soft drink price for ice water. Does not tell you in advance or don't mention it during check out.
