Whenever I'm in Tulsa I have to stop by this donut shop. It makes the 8 hour drive back to Houston more bearable The owners are Korean and my dad and I find it endearing that they always ask if we are Korean. Service: 4They are always sweet and give off a welcoming vibe when they serve you which makes you want to smile even when you're not a morning person. Donuts: 4What I love are the unique designs since not many stores in Houston do unique designs. Seeing them makes me feel like a child again and makes me want to eat them even though I normally avoid donuts back home. They are not overwhelming sweet and they stay fresh even after a couple hours unlike store made donuts.Kolaches: 5They are the reason why I have to come here every time I am in town. The sausages are seasoned well and match perfectly with a bread!

Pros: I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place. I've been coming here ever since I moved to Tulsa. Love the cute donut designs. Owned by super nice caring people, as evidenced by the following story: My brother in law has a friend and her son has psychiatric problems. One day, my brother in law's friend gets a phone call from the owners of OK country. They told her that her son was attempting to use her credit card at the shop. They didn't let him leave in the car he "borrowed" from her and they wanted her to come get him. They could have just washed their hands of him and sent him away. They didn't. They realized that her son wasn't quite right in the head and instead of calling the police, they called a caregiver. He needed help, didn't need to go to jail. How did the owners even get her number? She'd never been there before and lived across town. Cons: the hours. Once I arrived at 11am and they were closing. They let me dash in and sold me the rest of their stock. They were nearly sold out of everything. The line! This place is very popular.

This place has absolutely super cute donuts. It is every mom's go to when it comes to class treats. It is approved by teachers (no heavy frosting) and kids alike. You can get all kinds of designs and specialize in letter donuts for birthdays or special occasions. You pay per donut and prices vary depending on artwork involved. Okay, they're super cute but they're not super tasty. I guess it doesn't really matter tho kids love to eat sweet things in the designs make up for it. They also have items like porcupine fritters and sausage rolls. Be ready to stand in line and if you go late you can't be choosy, you may be left with Sponge Bob or a leaf design!

Above average donuts at OK Country. We had some donuts to go while staying with friends in Tulsa. There were several of the super hero and cartoon character donuts, including R2D2 (that my son loved), Shrek (or Yoda, not sure on that one) and Peppa the Pig. These things are great, the kids really loved them.In addition to being creative and colorful the donuts are actually good. I had a bit of the apple bear claw (they were out of apple fritters unfortunately) and it was great. The donut was soft but flavorful, not at all greasy, and had plenty of apple filling. I would absolutely order this donut again. I was bummed no apple fritters were available but this was a more than worthy replacement. The kolaches were also good. The bread was warm and soft and the sausage flavorful. Most of these places serve very similar kolaches, but OK Country's were a step up.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the donut holes. They were really doughy and not appetizing. We were surprised given how good everything else was. That said, I would definitely return on a future trip to Tulsa.

My kids and I were pretty disappointed with this donut shop. We were drawn in by the unique character donuts, but they lacked flavor. The donut itself was too dense and heavy and the icing was plastic-like. The service was lacking and the shop itself was unclean and hot. It was also wildly expensive for the amount of food/drink we received. We sadly won't be back.

We've been coming here for years, and we always order donuts for my kids' birthdays. They have often messed up the spelling of the names, and I just let it go. Birthday donuts usually cost about $40, but today my total was $60. When I asked about that, she told me we must not have been there in a while because prices had gone up, but we just ordered birthday donuts in November. I understand prices have gone up, but 50%?? That seems a bit high. Also, the donuts today were over cooked, and my kids said the icing tasted funny. We're done with OK Donuts.
