O'Connell's Irish Pub & Grille

This is one of my favorite places to go on Campus Corner in Norman. You have to try the Irish Car Bomb cocktails and the beer cider mixes of different varieties. We played several games of shuffleboard with our kiddos and just had a grand time. The service was friendly and it has a proper Irish pub environment.

Visiting Norman for the first time in a decade. I went to college here in the 90's and moved away in 2005. Decided to go to all the old haunts while I was in town. The location has changed but the food is still just as good. It's pub food so set your expectations, but as far as pub food you won't find better. I asked the bartender Matt for local beer recommendations and ordered the F5 IPA which was very tasty. It took some time to decide on lunch but I stuck with the classic Ranch Hand. It was just as I remember. Just a great burger. It was a summer Saturday so the vibe was chill, though it gets busier as kids come back to campus. If you have a chance and are in Norman swing by and have some drinks and food. I spent more time in O'Connells than any other place that's still around, and this trip didn't disappoint.

Homemade food..onion rings, pulled pork, queso, fish & chips to name a few are all made in house. Coldest beer in town. In historic Campus Corner & across the street from OU! What more could one ask for?

O'Connell's sucks for cancelling my DoorDash order after twenty minutes! It sucks for the dasher that had to hangout there and not get paid! Not the same place I hung out at in college or maybe my standards were much lower back in the 90's. It's cool though, I've got Bison Witches on the way.

Recently moved back to Norman and excited to get a burger at O'Connells. Waitress came by and I asked for a menu and she said she didn't know if she could get us any but she would try. She took our drink order, water for me, corona for my sister. Brought the water and never came back. This is a restaurant, right? How do you not have enough menus? And there were empty tables. I think right now I'm gonna put blame on the waitress for just not giving a sh#t but I'm gonna come back sometime and give it another chance. Completely disappointing!!!!Left and went to The Mont, where they do have menus and great customer service. She got an excellent tip!!

This place has really great burgers, their onion rings are fine (i prefer beer-battered), and their beers ard always great! My friend loves their fried pickles too! The waitresses are nice, and it's just a casual, iconic Norman spot!

Been coming here for years! The food is always solid especially for pub food, highly recommend checking this place out on Wednesday night! They have a burger night special for $5 burgers! For an appetizer I recommend the sweet n spicy wings, probably the best kept secret for wings in Oklahoma

Laurel is the absolute best server ever! Have had her for years and she never disappoints She always provides great service and makes sure to ask me how I'm doing. Love this place!

I tried the food again and was surprised at how much better it was. Since then I have been back several times and left happy.

Great ambience. Would love to see actual Irish food on the menu (Shepherd's Pie, Guinness beef stew or Irish Stew, Corned Beef and Cabbage) and a few Irish beers on tap. We would eat here at least once a week!
