Stopped in by myself after a fishing trip to watch the end of the OU game. Sat by myself and ordered a round. The bartender Summer was great. I noticed a group of guys playing pool, and one was pointing at me and whispering. Two of the guys from the table immediately come over and start peppering me with small talk. I'm cordial but suspicious. The man who was pointing at me then comes over and starts asking me probing questions. I answer one to be nice and he immediately runs up to the bartender and starts cussing like he's about to fight me! He didn't want his sh** pushed in, so he pays and runs out the door and two of his friends immediately head towards my table. I tell everyone to back up and leave the place. I will NEVER go back and I'll be filing a report with the BBB. Worst bar in Tulsa hands down

After being chased away from another happy hour by an over zealous air conditioner, Dan and I checked out O'Brien's Tavern. It is a small and well run pub with a happy hour from 11 to 7 everyday. I didn't ask if anything else is discounted during happy hour, but domestic beer is $2.50. We sat at the bar and Katlin took good care of us. She told us all about the pub and the various activities they have. There's live music on Fridays, but as yet, no Celtic music. Maybe in the future. Monday is music bingo, Wednesday is Trivia night. Thursday is karaoke night. They have plans in the future for Saturday nights. The customers were very friendly and polite. Many seem to know each other. A man showed up and was loudly greeted by his friends. This appears to be a Cheers type of pub where everyone knows your name and they're very glad you came.O'Brien's has a small menu of bar food. The cook didn't come in today, but Katlin was able to cook us up some dynamite wings. I noticed they have some speciality drinks which I look forward to trying. We look forward to our next visit.

Went there Sunday afternoon around 4 with spouse. Had some good beer prices so we both ordered a pint. Caitlyn took very good care of us as well as a large table of patrons nearby. Having had nothing to eat since an 8am protein shake, we ordered a basket of 10 wings. I only had 3 and I thought I detected a spoiled taste. (This was shortly after power had been restored following the Fathers Day storm.) Shortly after leaving I started having a stomach ache and by the time we got home I was dashing to worship at the porcelain shrine. It got worse and stayed ugly until the wee hours. Spouse was unaffected. So I'm guessing there was just 1 possibly spoiled or undercooked wing. And I got it. We will go back for a 2nd try but will not get the wings again. If they're trying to be an Irish pub, maybe add fish & chips or corned beef & cabbage to the menu. And maybe some Irish music to the live entertainment.

2 good things about this Irish Pub-- the service and live music is excellent. What kills it is there is no food! It's basically just a bar. They started doing convience store frozen air frier foods to get something to absorb your beverages but QT food is better. Id it was like a true Irish Pub with IRISH FOOD, it has the potential to be 5star.I worry about it making it as just a bar given Louies is across the street with a bar AND Excellent food with sports TV.Might be good place for happy hour or night cap but not for food
