Tulsa is lucky to have a place like this. For all you vegetarians out there, you have a few delicious options. My friend and I had the hearty harira soup and the scrumptious eggplant and tahini sandwich. I highly recommend both. We then capped the meal with the classic Moroccan mint tea and some sweets. The owner/chef came around to make sure everything tasted good.I love the restaurant's decor and Middle Eastern music. It's a cute, but small spot so let them know ahead of time if you're bringing a large party. Enjoy!

After hearing about this place from one of the FB groups, I asked my friend to join me. She was so impressed with the menu and the food. Location: The place can be a little difficult to find because there is no sign over the door but there is a sign in front of the door where there is outdoor seating. There is free parking behind the building. Decor: super colorful and beautiful Menu: everything sounded good We started with the Moroccan tea (mint) which is always delicious and I also got the Orange cinnamon orange blossom drink which was delicious, refreshing and unique with its floral flavors. We ordered the lamb in a blanket which was delicious lamb sausage in a crispy, buttery pastry dough. So yummy! We ordered the lentil soup (I think it may have had a specific name but I cannot remember exactly what it was called) which was so hearty and delicious- had figs in it which was a lovely surprise for my taste buds. We ordered the chicken tajine which was also delicious. The dish came with homemade bread but we added the noodles which were a beautiful combination of savory and sweet. The service was great except for when we went to pay, the owner(?) did not like that we wanted to charge the meal instead of use debit. Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves and the delicious food. We would love to come back and try more items on the menu.

Slow food at its finest! Come here when you're not in a hurry, you're catching up with friends, and want fresh/delicious Moroccan food. We came on a Friday right when they opened. The owner is so sweet and genuine. She welcomed us in as she was turning all the lights on. After looking at the menu, she answered all of our questions. The puffy pizza is an appetizer but she told us it might take longer than our entrees since they had just turned the oven on. We didn't mind so we got that along with our main dishes: the pear salad and the harira soup. The pear salad was beautifully presented with raspberry vinaigrette, cherry tomatoes, sliced almonds, and lots of blueberries. If you like lentils and chickpeas, you'll like the harira soup. It's served with the most delicious bread. Highly recommend! We would've ordered dessert too but we were full after the puffy pizza, which is a must try! Will be back to try their breakfast, drinks and dessert! The space itself is simple yet beautiful. The tile decor adds ambiance and the dishes are so pretty. They had Arabic music playing, which added to the experience. At one point, I had to ask for water. The owner seemed to be doing all the heavy lifting so I didn't mind having to do that. Can't wait to go again.

On Monday, we decided to try something new and this place came highly recommended. We had the whole place to ourselves. It's such a cute place. The food was absolutely amazing - we had the lamb and seafood special, the lamb puff appetizer and the avocado salad. For dessert, the owner let us try her baklava and it was the absolute greatest thing I've ever tasted. The owner was so sweet and she deserves all the praise. If you want your tastebuds to be blown away, eat here!!

This was the first time we've been to this restaurant or any Moroccan restaurant for that matter. Our expectations were high due to the ratings, but our expectations were exceeded. We had the Harira soup and chicken pastilla. The food was fantastic. The service and ambiance were top notch as well. We'll definitely be back because the food was so good and the menu has many things we want to try. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

There is street parking in front of the restaurant. It is on the left of 918. It has a cheery interior and a full bar. We were a group of 7 and when we arrived were the only table but a few groups arrived after us. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The owner was very lovely and took our order. The other man working brought water and silverware (which are blue -fun). It took a while like 15-20 minutes for drinks to start coming out and some didn't come out until after the food arrived. The food arrived mostly together minus 1 dish at around the one hour mark. The food was excellent. I had the meatball tajine and loved the flavor and the portion size. The owner came around and asked about the food and talked a little about the dishes which was cool. We asked for the check and the owner said the preference is cash or debit but would take credit if needed. It wasn't really clear what the other person was present for as he didn't service drinks or food. It seemed like he should be trained to make the smoothies or drinks and that there would be a sign about taking cash. The food is worth a repeat visit, be ready to pay with cash, not be in a rush but either be with good friends or a good book.

INCREDIBLE. Tulsa is lucky to have a place this delicious and diverse. We went on a Friday night and were immediately greeted by two friendly faces. The ambiance is comfortable with Moroccan touches. Ordered the avocado, figs, and almond smoothie which was tasty and an interesting flavor combination. We ordered the lamb tajine and the chicken with apricots, the order came with freshly made Moroccan bread. Every bite was delicious and a different experience than typical Tulsa fare. Highly recommend. Everyone needs to try this place. We'll be back again soon to try the pastille. Important to note - at this time they only accept debit card and cash payments.

Delicious. I've walked past so many times and finally made it in for dinner tonight. You can tell everything is made fresh in-house. Even the Magic Drink, you can tell is fresh squeezed orange juice. The husband and I had the Lamb Tajine tonight. With the homemade whole wheat bread we were perfectly full. The owner is so kind and conversational. We will definitely be back to try all of the other menu items. And the peach coconut cookies are the perfect cookie.

Came for dinner early on a Saturday and it exceeded my expectations. The place is small but cozy and the staff extremely friendly. The food is amazing, everything we tried was full of flavor and fresh. We had the lamb tajine and meatball tajine and both were delicious. The lamb meat was so tender and good and the spice in the meatball dish was out of this world. Served with a lovely bread as well. Everything was delicious and the prices were very fair. We had the baklava for dessert and it was like nothing we had tried before. So much better than traditional baklava. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

Yesterday we decided to try out Notes of Marrakech: a Taste of Morocco which is located at 315 Trenton Avenue across from the Church Studio in the Pearl District. The small dining room was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean and comfortable. Unknown to us, they had a huge catering order underway and had been closed most of the day. Luckily they had decided to open for a couple of hours mid-afternoon so we got there at the perfect time. The chef/owner, Sovana, came out to our table immediately and welcomed us warmly. She said things might be a bit slow because they were catering a large wedding that evening, but as it turned out, service actually was fairly quick. We shared two appetizers. The cream cheese "cigars" were crispy cylindrical shells stuffed with housemade cream cheese that was seasoned with thyme, peppermint, garlic, and Italian peppers. The second appetizer was lamb sausage in blankets, which were pieces of deliciously spiced meat wrapped in crisp layers of phyllo and topped with poppy seeds. Both appetizers were absolutely delicious. My wife's entree was the roasted chicken tajine with prunes and apricots. The couple of bites I had were wonderful. The chicken was moist and tender and the fruits were perfectly sweet. I had the perfectly seasoned boneless lamb tajine which was super tender and studded with slices of preserved lemon and whole Kalamata olives. We both loved the Moroccan bread which was ideal for soaking up the tajine juices. We washed down our food with two luscious fresh fruit drinks. The first was made with pineapple, coconut, and lemon and the second was Egyptian mango and strawberry. We were too full to try the desserts, but they all looked wonderful. Their breakfast menu was also enticing. Sovana and our server both came by and checked on us several times. Their welcoming friendliness was a big plus to a fabulous meal. Hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday-Saturday. They are closed on Sunday. We were able to park on the street on a Saturday afternoon. There may be off-street parking behind the Church Studio, but I'm not sure about that. This small eatery is a gem which we highly recommend. I hope a lot of people will help support them.Yesterday we decided to try out Notes of Marrakech: a Taste of Morocco which is located at 315 Trenton Avenue across from the Church Studio in the Pearl District.
