Really enjoyed the bread here, it's soft and everything we had was at least on par if not better than a Subway sandwich on a good day. The food all seemed as fresh as it could be and it was prepared quickly. The lobby closed at 3pm so we had to go through drive thru but it didn't affect the quality at all. Service was good and we would definitely return to try other flavors. My sandwich had the signature Neptune sauce and it was delightful

Tender. The bread. Mama Mia. Subs are just subs right? Pretty much the same everywhere? NOT HERE! Here the subs are died and gone to heaven delicious. Order whatever you want. The veggies are fresh. The lettuce and tomato will not disappoint you! You won't have to pull it off because it is dismal. Lettuce and tomato is crucial to a great sub experience. The cold cuts are fresh. And mild. When I crave a sub which is pretty often... I will be here. Look for the girl enjoying her meal.

I had high hopes but it was a BIG let down. I heard a lot of praise about Neptune but the fact that this is one of the "better" sandwich shows in OKC really showcases the lack of a sandwich restaurant scene our state has. Unfortunately the service and food were both very average.Food: The bread was far too soft and the type that would start to get mushy if you didn't eat your sandwich within a few minutes or so. The overall quality of ingredients were similar to what you could make at home and tbh that's pretty much what it tasted like. Service: I was originally quoted a 50min wait for my call in order but I asked if they could make it a bit sooner, since I was about 15 mins away but if they couldn't then no big deal. I pulled up to the restaurant expecting for them to be slammed but 5 people had just finished their meals and were leaving so the place was now completely empty. The employees were just doing busy work and hanging around, so I'm not sure why I was given such a long wait time for my order initially.

Drive thru was easy and fast. The sandwich was really tasty! The bread is super soft which means it probably wouldn't keep for too long but is nice when freshly made. I didn't go into the restaurant. I've always meant to go by, and I'm glad I did. Awesome building along Classen

A long time ago in the metro area it seemed there was a Neptune submarine sandwich shop everywhere you went. Sadly there is only one Oklahoma city location plus a brand new Moore location. Everyone else in our party headed to Jersey Mike's except me. I had a hankering for a chicken salad sandwich. Jersey Mike's doesn't have one on their menu, but Neptune's does. Neptune's is located on north Classen blvd. There was a short line at the drive through but it went quickly. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, some Miss Vickie's chips, and a passion fruit green tea. I returned to our meeting place for lunch. They have a good chicken salad sandwich at Subway, at MaAlister's, at City bites, Jason's deli, Some place deli, BUT NOT NEPTUNE'S! The chicken was way too sweet, and ground to paste the consistency of a typical tuna salad sandwich. In fact it almost tasted like tuna fish. A couple of tomato slices plus shredded Lettuce that was sloppy wet on a damp bun. Way too expensive for what you get. For $16 bucks & change I got the sandwich, a bag of chips, plus a small iced tea. All the owners need to do is drive over to City bites, or Arby's for that matter and copy their chicken salad recipe. From a city wide chain to where they are now is quite the fall from grace. Could it have been from such poor quality as the sandwich I received today? I can't in good conscience recommend Neptune's Chicken salad sandwich. As for the rest of their sandwiches, byer beware.

Not hard to give a 5 Star review when you have a place like Neptune's!! I used Swarm formerly known as Four Square to check in places of interest. I was shocked to find out that the last time I checked into was 2014!We arrived early just after they opened so we were the first customers of the day We were greeted by Daniel & Lindsay - two of the most cheerful people you would want to me. After admitting it had been several years since we've been there they greeted us like we were regulars! We asked a few questions, placed out order and took our seats near the window. First thing is that you notice how clean the place looked. We each ordered the 12" Sub, her's was the Super Sub mine was the Supreme Sub. Since we said we wanted half to take away they made the other half dry with condiments to go. First thing you notice was how fresh the bun is truly spectacular! It's the perfect balance of perfection! Just prior to leaving we asked if they sold the buns by themselves - yes they do! So I'm my next trip to Neptune's I'll grab a couple of extra buns to bring home,The inside was very clean and inviting! You'll want to take the time to sit down and relax and enjoy a great place to dine!

This use to be my favorite sub shop when I was a kid. I was visiting OKC & decided to go for nostalgia. It did not hold up to my memories. There just wasn't much meat or vegetables in ratio to the bread. And, I could be wrong, but it tasted more like miracle whip than mayo. And flavorless vinaigrette. Sadly I won't be returning.

I have been wanting to try this place forever because it looks so original and retro from the outside. The building is in a very cool shape and was probably built sometime in the 60's. While the service was good, I was disappointed overall. It has a drive thru which cheapens the entire experience and the interior has been poorly modernized and does not match the exterior whatsoever. If they wanted to make it more contemporary, they should open it up more so you can actually see them making the sandwich instead of guessing what might be going on in the kitchen. I ordered a half Italian sandwich. Since this is Oklahoma, I didn't expect it to be authentic, but the name is laughable because there isn't really anything Italian about it. The bread is really soft, and it feels like you are eating a butter roll in the shape of a hot dog bun. The deli meat had no spice to it and they do not have combos available so chips and a drink are an add on. No free refills.

2nd worst sandwich I've ever purchased. It's like cold toppings inside of a hotdog bun. To be avoided. Go to Lees across the street.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich in Oklahoma City. I love the Italian and the Club. I think my favorite thing about the sandwiches though is the bread. It is so soft and different from any place else. Whenever I am on that side of the city, I always stop because the people are friendly and quick. Tried it out and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
