Ned's

This place absolutely made me feel at home. It was a little divey, a little country, a little dirty but it was perfect.I can't, in good merit, award it the whole 5 stars because it wasn't exactly the cleanest or nicest looking place (hence the at-home feeling). They had a pretty standard selection of beers and relatively cheap drinks all around. The service was really excellent, I was quite proud of the waitress for keeping our big group in order. All of the wait staff and bartenders were very friendly. By the way, the place is HUGE. I couldn't tell from the outside but it was big big big. There were multiple pool tables, a jukebox, shuffleboard, darts, a couple of interactive video games - your very standard large-dive-bar accoutrements. I would likely stop by this place every time I was in Tahlequah. I went there during Spring Break and even then it was still relatively bumping - seems like a real crowd favorite for this town.

Ned's has come a long way since I went to school here. Now Smoke fee which is awesome. They have more servers on the weekends which help. Still a college town bar, but there are good drinks and plenty of seating. Good place to go for late night drinks. And pretty cheap on drink prices.

Cute little dive bar. Needs some TLC and updating. If you can deal with the smokey environment, the drinks are strong and pretty cheap. Don't expect an array of top shelf liquors, they aren't here, and from my experience, the bartenders were lacking in expertise. They were friendly and fast though. Music is controlled by a 'pay to play' jukebox, although on most nights, a lot of country gets played. Many pool tables in the side room with limited seating while the bar room has plenty.

Personally I love this place. I've been going here since I turned 21. That being said I'm going to try to be objective. Don't expect anything fancy, this is a place to get trashed for cheap. The drinks are not always mixed accurately but they are strong and the cheapest in town. The bartenders are fast and friendly. You can smoke inside so be prepared for that if you are a non-smoker. There are 6 pool tables in the back and a shuffleboard table. Pitchers are 5.50 along with most mixed drinks. This is the gathering place of Tahlequah, they've been there for 25 years last month. You might see a fight, you might make some friends, and you might keep coming back for years to come.

Ned's is the local hangout. It's the place where you can walk in alone & guarantee you'll run into some you know there. It recently changed it's smoking policy & is now a no smoking facility. There is a gated patio out back for the smokers. They have the best priced drinks in town by far. Although they don't serve food, they're in the heart of the downtown area close to pizza, burgers, & Greek food. Pool tables, ping pong, beer pong tournaments, shuffle board and an iTouch jute box keeps you entertained all night long. Plenty of staff on hand & they're all friendly. The bar is locally ran by the 2 son's of the previous owner, both of whom are musicians so they too are well known in the community. It's a great place no matter what age to just sit back, have a drink & visit with friends. Spacious & lots of seating is just another added bonus. Ned's ... a main staple of Tahlequah, OK.

This place smells horrible!! You can smell the cigarette smoke before you even get to the door. No ventilation. The old carpet holds all that smoke & makes it even harder to breathe. Cheap 3.2 beer & mixed drinks made with very low grade liquors. It's not a place to hang out if the want the option of a non-smoking area. That's right....no non-smoking area. You can smoke in the entire bar which may be right up your alley. Just be prepared for lots of smoke & poor beverages.
