I don't know what to say except, WOW!!! Talk about a company that knows how to get it RIGHT. Our wedding was a year ago Sunday, and due to some family stuff we didn't get around to submitting a review. From Cassie who handled everything for us, to the cooks, servers, bartenders, they were ALL FANTASTIC. I have told everyone how wonderful it was. Every single person that was in attendance agrees the food couldn't be beat. If you are looking for a caterer that cares about their clients, look no further than NED'S Catering.

I recently hired Ned's catering to help with an event I was hosting. They came highly recommended from the venue I was using and were able to offer me a competitive price (and believe me, I had priced a lot of places). From my very first call, Cassie was so helpful and fun to work with. Closer to the event, I had a very helpful sit-down meeting with Ned, even though he was in the middle of several major events surrounding tornado clean-up and fundraising. He still made me feel like my small event was a big deal to them. Their staff onsite was excellent. They provided food, bar staff and general waitstaff for our 200+ person event. Their staff was friendly, helpful and polite, and had a great sense of humor. The food was outstanding and my only regret is that (as the hostess) I only got to try a few bites of the food during the event! I would work with Ned, Cassie and the staff any time, on any project, and I look forward to my next opportunity to do so!

My husband and I chose Ned's Catering based on the recommendation of my sister-in-law who had used them for a fundraising event as well as our venu who highly recommended their services as well. Ned's has been in the catering business for over 25 years.Initial Tasting: We had an initial tasting with Ned and he allowed for 6 total people to attend and taste. My family and I ultimately decided on beef tenderloin with mashed potatos and salmon with julienned vegetables. Our wedding menu also came with a salad and rolls. Our tasting went very well and Ned and his son, Ned Jr. were extremely professional.Months Leading Up to the Wedding: I do have a couple of critiques about them, but you'll see why later I gave them 5 stars. (1) It was pretty difficult to get ahold of Ned and/or Ned Jr. while we were planning our wedding. It would take a couple of days to hear back from an email, if at all. Their secretary, Ashley, was really sweet but lacked follow through. She was also pregnant at the time so I'm sure that had quite a bit to do with it. Also, Ned was having quite a bit of health issues which is the reason why it was so hard to contact him. (2) They're disorganized. When we had meetings with Ned and/or Ned Jr. we noticed that their office was VERY disorganized. Bills and paperwork everywhere! I just kept thinking to myself, how on earth are these guys going to pull off our 450 guest wedding without being organized? They also have a tendency to forget certain details that you have specifically outlined for them many times over i.e. Ned's putting on our chair covers, Ned's providing the bar setup, what's on the menu...some pretty important stuff! A word of advice, make sure you document EVERYTHING! (3) They're pretty nonchalant about your concerns leading up to the wedding. I would call/nag/barade their email, and they would tell me "Don't worry about it. We got this."....which of course makes this organized bride worry even more!Wedding Day: Ned Jr., who is only 26 I think, was the person in charge of our wedding day. So of course, I worried on my wedding day about that issue. Who doesn't? Let's just say, all of my worries were completely wiped away by the end of the evening. Here's all the reasons why. Ned's was in charge of a 450 person seated dinner, cocktail hour which included hor's deuvres that were provided by a different caterer, setup (table linens, place settings, cleanup, bar setup (i.e. ice, mixers, sodas, all of the accessories a bar needs), bartenders, and cake cutting. I think they had well over 30 - 40 staff at our wedding. They executed all of their tasks without any hitches. The food was AMAZING and tasted just like our initial tasting if not better. My tenderloin was medium just the way I like it and the salmon melted in my mouth. They were extremely friendly and many of their staff members were laughing and smiling, yet professional throughout the whole day. Any additional requests that were made throughout the day was seemlessly executed with a smile. I feel that if I had used any other caterer that day, my wedding would not have been as successful. Not only was Ned's Catering amazing with the food, they value their customers and made my wedding day so much more special.Final Thought: Although there is some room for improvement mentioned above, they flawless execution well made up for the months leading up to the wedding. I am highly recommending them to loved ones for future events to come.

My daughter chose Ned's based on the recommendation from Oklahoma History Center which was the venue of her wedding. I accompanied her to the meeting we had where we talked about the menu, the table setup, bar, etc. My daughter requested a vegetarian option as well as the chicken entree and Ned's suggested a stuffed portabella mushroom as the vegetarian option. Before printing rsvps my daughter confirmed the menu and Ned's said they have both options and everything is OK. The day before the wedding Ned's emails her saying that the menu has changed and now instead of stuffed portabella mushrooms it is going to be stuffed peppers (alledging that my daughter gave them the recipe and they didn't agree on it). Needless to say this made her day very stressful unnecessarily. The day of the wedding the table that was supposed to have the salad pre-set, glasses for water and wine as well as wine bottles on the tables, had no salad, the napkin was stuffed inside a coffee cup but no coffee was ordered or served. No glasses for wine and no bottles, just to find out that they were not informed of this by Ned's. The potatoes and veggies that came with the dinner were raw and you couldn't even cut it with a knife let alone eat it.On top of all this they are very hard to get a hold of, requires many emails and calls to have anybody answer a simple question or even get the final count of guests.RUN AWAY FROM NED'S
