My Momma’s House Soul Food

I've been a customer since before the food truck and it's great to see that a brick and mortar restaurant finally became a reality. My go-to favorite order would be catfish with mac n cheese, candied yams, and greens. The soul rolls are a delicacy in this household as well. Keep it rolling!

Let's get started on this review! First of all everything tasted just like my "momma" would make it! Every single dish was delicious! From the seafood to the chicken pot pie to the meatloaf! Momma really threw down! It's a small food truck packed with a lot of flavor. Stationed in North Tulsa this establishment is bound to be a staple for Tulsa. Heard about this food truck through word of mouth from people who stated that it was the best soul food in Tulsa. The banana pudding was the final touch. Could not eat it all because the proportions are huge! One meal is definitely stretched out into 2 or even 3 for us small eaters. The son of momma Glen was absolutely polite and didn't recognize him before they opened when he spoke to me in the grocery store next to his mommas food truck. Thank you for the great food and kind spirit! Definitely recommend and 5/5 stars! I do not take my reviews lightly! I've also been known to be harsh but I give honest reviews! It definitely hits the soulllllll!

My last 2 visits to this establishment I've waited well over an hr for lackluster food. Both times they stopped cooking because the generator messed up or because the propane was out. They ran out of items that I paid for as I patiently waited for them the first time they even forgot to give me items that I paid for. My most recent visit I was told "I would have to heat my sides up at home" I was fed up and I voiced my concerns to Chris the owner, and requested a refund he was very rude and unprofessional even though they were at fault. Needless to say, I will not continue supporting a business that treats it's customers rudely for their mistakes. The food used to be good but they have gone downhill tremendously.

Oh man the flavors hit hard and the portions are HUGE... Takes me right back to Houston. This Soul Food Truck is owned and operated by the McCrary family & they are doing the Lord's Work with these plates of heavenly food. Everything is made homemade and special attention to quality ingredients, not found usually in a food truck. The Main courses were nearly outdone by the sides! Candied Yams, Collard Greens and the Mac & Cheese?!?! Hallelujah! And you have to get a 3 pack of the Soul Rolls!! Egg Rolls stuffed with yams, collard greens & Mac and Cheese.. are you kidding me!?? Ordering takes a little bit, and they text you when it's ready. Giving you plenty of time to give thanks for all the good things you have & the taste-bud blessings you're about to receive when you leave My Momma's House #eatthelocals

Had to make another swing back by for the new SOUL ROLLS ‼ Crab Mac n Cheese and Shrimp Alfredo with the double sauces GO CRAZY!! Of course always love to grab some big juicy catfish strips packed with seasoning and flavor!! Warning! - Ask for extra tartar sauce its so delicious and runs out quick!Picking up some of Momma's delicious Gumbo! Perfect meal for two! Of course Chris and Gwen were sweet enough to throw in some perfectly seasoned Catfish Strips, a one of a kind OG Soul Roll, with a complimentary rich Buttermilk Pie! Quick weekend meal that will easily warm and fill you up! Love the family and the hard working team that put the love into the work they do!Bunch of delicious food coming from one of the most kindest and generous families within Tulsa!! New location in the Boxyard downtown. The nicest staff and really good food! We had the catfish with homemade tartar sauce which was great! The homemade fries were super special and the yams and greens were delicious. We will definitely be back!

My Momma's House catered lunch at our office. The pasta with shrimp and greens was delicious! Huge shrimp and rich, buttery sauce. The egg rolls were unexpected but great, especially with zingy BBQ sauce.

Awesome Food and customer service. Just call it in, pay for it, sit in your car and they will call you when it's ready. The grilled Rib-Eye Steaks, ribs and chicken are tender and tasty. The fish is awesome. The sides are all homemade and eye closing. The desserts...heavenly. Their Signature Soul Rolls are eye closing. Anything on the menu will not disappoint. Love this food truck! Best customer service ever.

just outstanding food and humble service from the owner chris! he made sitting in our truck at his food truck a restaurant experience! we had the beef short ribs in grace and pork chops plus greens, mac and cheese and yams plus the outstanding soul roll!! lord have mer-say!! awesomeness!!

The good is AMAZING! Its the only food truck I eat in Tulsa. my favorit's are the soul rolls and fried catfish. If you like soul food that'll remind of yo mommas house this is a must try!
