The Muskogee Civic Center is back in action! With new management, way bigger acts are being brought to town. The Shenandoah concert was awesome. We can't wait to see Marshall Tucker Band in March. Follow them on social media for all upcoming events. AND it's next to Muskogee's best cocktail bar, MJ's.

Admittedly, I didn't go inside the actual Civic Center, but was there for the Chili/BBQ cookoff that took place outside in the parking lot. If you love chili, this is the place for you. Pretty sure there were over 40 vendors serving chili or BBQ (mostly pulled pork). For $10 (or 2 for $15), you can get a tasting plate that allows you to eat till your heart's content. There were a TON of booths also giving out the usual free swag (pens, koozies, etc).Tip: Bring your own drink, so you don't have to pay for an overpriced one there!
