Mr. Pancho Mexican Grill & Cantina

I love the authentic Mexican food here! Salsa and chips are delicious. My favorite is the enchilada plate.

Finally decided to give this place a try this afternoon. Parking lot was a little seedy and ghetto looking with the grease trap in nose shot & an old busted residential fridge rolled up near the trash enclosure right next to a guest parking spot. We proceeded inside, still hopeful but figured it wasn't a good sign. First test at any Mexican restaurant are the chips & salsa. Salsa was a definite miss - sweet marinara based salsa (zero heat) that belongs on a pizza or dipped with a breadstick. Chips were a bit overdone with no salt.The waitress took our order by memory which is always annoying; especially when there is a mistake in the order & you feel rushed placing it. Not surprisingly, the bean and cheese burrito I ordered (that arrived looking like an enchilada) came out with no cheese as she mixed our orders up. My husband ordered the street tacos & said he would not order the pork & chicken tacos again. Pork taco was loaded with pineapple & chicken was bland. The house margarita my husband ordered was no bueno. Also rather off putting when the drink runner delivered the drink after touching the salted rim with her bare hands. I was glad I stuck to a draft Amber beer which was good but could've been colder. The kids meal was ok. I thought it was a bit odd they didn't have any juice available for the kids yet a "full bar." When we ordered an orange juice, the waitress said they only have juices for bar drinks. With plethora of decent Mexican restaurants around, I can't say we'd give this place another try.

Walked in the first thing we saw or what we didn't see was a smiling face. He put two fingers up, dropped off a Manuel and walked away. Never brought us any refills. Never brought us any extra chips we are out of stuff. The food was just OK, but would come back here, that would be a big no I thought the waiter was gonna beat me up actually sometimes the lack of service and the lack of friendliness can determine your food! Been done eating for about 15 minutes and still no tab. Please water about a half hour ago and you wonder why you don't get a good tip. Zero for you buddy.

I love love this place! If you want something authentic try the chorizo street tacos- comes in 6 corn tortillas with onions and cilantro (I always nix the onions) but that's personal preference. I recently learned from a trip to costa Maya that chorizo is authentic Mexican meat. Of course you can get these in chicken or steak.

Just finished having dinner here and the staff is amazing. Our server Oscar and his assistant, are amazing. The most delicious top shelf queso and you can't beat the price. Nicely made house margaritas and their fajitas called Parillada, is delicious! Humble place with humble prices!

The portions and price do not line up. Picked up dinner tonight and I'm extremely disappointed. I ordered a double order of fajitas and got a lack luster amount of meat. Also got a small quac and paid 4.19 for basically a thimble of quac. Save yourself the trip and go to one of the many other places.

I go here for the cheap delicious food and the cheap delicious drinks. Food is reasonably priced and the portions are pretty good. I love the staff, they are friendly and efficient. I hate to say this but I've become a local :)

Great food! Pastor is my favorite! Service can be a hit or miss but the ladies that I've had wait on me are great.

Just left this place where the owner and two male employees were standing around doing little or nothing while one female employee was busting her butt taking care of her tables and a very busy bar. It's Friday night, BTW. It's not the first time we've experienced this lack of engagement from the male wait staff, but for the owner to be present and equally unengaged, was beyond belief!! Such a SHAMELESS disregard for your customers and your female employees. There is something seriously wrong at Mr Panchos!

Stopped here for some fresh beans and rice with two chicken enchiladas stuffed with delicious shredded white meat! In and out in just under 30 minutes! Nothing special for a dining room. Great service glad I stopped.
