Mom’s Family Diner

Even we they are busy all of the ladies are super nice to every customer and greet you with a smile. Sometimes I swear my momma must be in the back cooking. This place isn't a fancy 4 star high brow place. This is good down home family fixings. I never ordered anything yet that didn't taste good. It's always fresh and tastes like it should. I like their chicken fried steaks. When you are home sick this is a good place to go!

Giving three because it's one of my dads favorite diners! My gravy mess was just ok. I should've asked for the gravy to be on the side. My dad and sisters waffles were good though! It's your typical small town diner. Service was great!

This is a classic old school breakfast cafe right off Memorial. It has tons of omelettes, skillets, and traditional breakfast items; you will not find newer age items like avocado toast. The meat lover's skillet is huge and delicious. If you are trying to avoid starchy carbs, you could just eat the meat and veggies portion of the skillet and still get full! You can ask for a side of fruit instead of biscuits, toast, or pancakes (not on the menu for skillets, but it's available). I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because I prefer home fries (breakfast potatoes) over hash-browns in general. If you love hash-browns, this will be perfect for you. The bacon omelet was delicious too. My husband could only eat half of it. The coffee was tasty (a neutral flavor, not bitter or anything) and they offered vanilla and hazelnut creamers in addition to Half and Half. It was busy at noon on a Monday, but we did not have to wait. The sign said to seat yourself, and you pay someone at a register versus your waitress at the end. I like this setup to keep tables moving faster. Everything tasted fresh, and we had no issues. Nice local place!

I have never been ignored like this before. It wasn't even that busy. Still had a few open tables. We sat there for over 10 minutes being ignored and passed over while others that just got there next to us placed there order. A family of 5 sat down after us and got there food and no one even came to take our drink order. Then when we got up as we putting our coats us the boy came and grabbed our menus. Won't be going there again. Sad cause they have good food.

Went there this morning for breakfast! Amazing as usual! Good service, pleasant atmosphere and the food is awesome. I live in Midland Tx, every time I visit my daughter I always stop by! Every one should stop here and eat. You will come back again and again!

If you want a home cooked meal this is it! Along with great conversations with the servers you can't go wrong it's like sitting at the breakfast table with family.

The omelette and burger were good and priced reasonably but the biscuit I got was over cooked and was really hard so if this restaurant would give better biscuits then they would of gotten a 5 star .

Good place to eat. They have a variety of things on the menu and the staff is nice! Make sure you go before 3:00 because that's when they close.

The service and the food is fast and delicious you can go rong with this place I do recommend

As always the food was good. They were extremely busy but that is not unusual. What is unusual is for the first time I felt like our server was short and a little rude. Not sure if her name, Sally rings a bell but not sure. After we got our door, no one checked to see if things were ok but a member of our group asked for a refill on water multiple times with no response. Finally I told a non-wait staff member that our friend had asked multiple times for a refill and this server was near the table and had the water pitcher saying rather rudely, "I'm here. I have been busy". I understand but the response could have been kinder and/or the server could have told us two or three requests early that she was busy and would get to us as soon as possible, or better yet get one of the non-wait staff to get the water. First time I have ever been disappointed at this location. The wait staff are usually very attentive.
