When you visit the Tulsa Zoo, be sure to pack a frisbee or pic-a-nic basket to enjoy at Mohawk before or after! Parking is abundant and the spaces are wide open. For some reason, I felt some childhood nostalgia here. It feels like you are completely out of the city or any kind of building for that matter. Quite peaceful.Like many parks in OK, come enjoy the wind rollin' down the plains and take advantage of the beautifully well-kept grass fields without paying a dime. Got horses? I saw some riders taking advantage of this beauty on my last visit, too!

They have added signs to help get around in the park, it is very easy to get lost. Oxley nature center is now closed Sunday and Monday. At first I thought it just meant the building, they meant the whole road that leads to the area.
