MJ’s Tinbox Cafe

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is always fresh and delicious. It is truly comfort food. The staff make you feel so welcoming. It's like going to your Auntie's house for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is a cute and homey place.

They are so friendly! The food is true home cooking. Always clean! If you aren't full....well just say something.

Great home cooking I got there a few minutes before they opened and enjoyed the beautiful view. I got a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in the door and they took my drink order before I sat down. There were several options to choose from. I ordered the pot roast, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Everything was excellent. I will definitely need to make a return trip and try some of the other options.

We showed up with 10 elderly resident from Peachtree retirement village in Farmington. Not only did they take such good care of us the food was amazing. One of our residents had a birthday and she is diabetic. The owner actually made her a sugar-free dessert and came out and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday to her. She was overjoyed.

I love this place. It is a very peaceful relaxed place to have lunch. They have an awesome Facebook page that is very detailed and tells you what they're having each day. There is a ridiculous amount of options each day, which I really love. The people that run it are the nicest people you'll ever meet highly recommend for a country lunch .

Sometimes you just need some "home cooking" / comfort food. You can find it here. My wife and I both had the dish that was listed as "The Best Meatloaf Ever". It did not disappoint. My wife had the Banana Pudding Pie for desert and I had the German Chocolate Cake. That is one of my favorite cakes and one that is often my birthday cake. MJ's was one of the best ever.

Finding a good restaurant with really good food is like breathing fresh air. MJ's Tin Box cafe is situated in an area that's fresh air and the food is outstanding! The service was above and beyond and they were attentive to our needs even when they were busy. We will definitely be back another time to dine at this wonderful establishment.

Just a little country diner with real country cooking. My first time there I was treated like a regular. The food was great the people better. Come hungry!
