MJ’s Macarons & More

I was visiting out of town with some girlfriends and we were told that we HAD to go to MJ's for a sweet treat! So like good tourists, we did You walk into the store and it's not what you expect and there is no seating. They do have water that you can drink but this is definitely a grab and go place. That doesn't mean that you will be rushed however as I went here twice within the same weekend and took my time both times. MJ's serves macarons, which I believe they are best known for. They also have cakes in jars, cookie sandwiches, brownie cookie, and ice cream. Of the macarons, my favorite was the fig and honey ones though they were all delicious. I also got the chocolate chip cookie cream sandwich and it was SO YUMMY plus big enough to nibble on the rest of the weekend. The brownie cookie was delicious with some milk once I got back to our cabin. I did not try the ice cream so that is a next trip item! The store owner, which I think may be the husband of the baker(??- maybe just a worker), was so kind, patient, and considerate. I bought the macrons for my husband as a take-home treat. Once a man behind the counter knew that that's what I was doing with them, he took the extra time to put them in a box that would keep them safe from crumbling, as well as putting that small box in the Ziploc bag to keep them as fresh as possible because it would be a day before I got back home. They did last all the way back to Tahlequah, OK for my husband and I to enjoy them together and start planning our adventure to Eureka Springs! I just wanted to specifically call out this kind gesture because it really made me wish that they were local to me as I would be using them for any of my events and gatherings. So be sure to visit them when you go, as good Fortune should follow good people!100% recommend MJ's and look forward to seeing what they do next when I go back to Eureka Springs!

We get a dozen every time we're in town! I'm not generally a fan of macarons but these just take it to a new level. It's a must when visiting!

The macaroons are delicious (says my wife). I personally don't eat many sweets. The proprietor is very friendly and my personal enjoyment were the beautiful plants inside. They ship their product and I hope to order more for my granddaughter when she comes to visit.

They were closed but the owner ran outside as we were walking away and let me come in to buy a few macarons and they were the best I've ever had. He was so friendly and chatted with us for a while.

Fantastic macarons! Went back twice in a 2 day visit! They also have oatmeal cream pies and a few other items but, I highly recommend trying this shop! Delicious.

My mom came in saying "I don't like macarons" & left with 6 of them! They're so delicious, and the man working there was so nice and helpful (& hyped his wife up the entire time, we love a supportive husband). It's very cute and homey inside! I definitely recommend stopping by when you're in Eureka Springs!

First the service is spectacular! All of the ones we sampled were amazing and it made the choosing that much harder... so we got most of them. Oh and the dessert in a jar is a nice different option. Love them and if I heard correctly they couple be more Coa sing towards Bentonville!

These are hands down the best macarons I've ever had. The employees were so sweet and we were able to try all of the flavors and ended up leaving with a half dozen and they were delicious! I honestly wish I had gotten more and i'm already looking forward to driving back up to get more. I would 100% recommend stopping in if you're near.

LOVED my wedding cakes from MJ's. They executed my vision perfectly and so so deliciously.

My family and I went to MJ's on our visit and loved the macarons. Best we've ever had. The owner was so nice and funny. Five stars!
