Their pizza is outstanding and has been for many years. We are partial to their Home Run, but other option are also good.

We love our pizza, and we realize there are lots of different types..We haven't been here in close to a decade, but we received a BOGO offer, so we figured we would give them another try. We ordered ahead to take out. We ordered a large home run, with a medium Hawaiian as our BOGO, at a cost of $24.My initial impression...not enough toppings, no where near enough cheese, bland sauce, and soda cracker crust soft in the center and lacking flavor. This opinion was unanimous in our household. With the limited toppings, even with the BOGO, the value just isn't there. I'm sure some folks like this type of pizza. If I'm paying over $20 for a pizza, I expect something special. I expect pepperoni in every bite, mushroom in every bite, sausage in every bite...you get the drift. This fell short of my expectations. We appreciated the BOGO offer and we wish them good luck, it's just not for us.

Another year, another great meal! We had a coupon for a free pizza with the purchase of a pizza (medium). Today, we purchased a veggie pizza for me and my mom, and a triple play for my dad (of course we all had slices from both). Now, their pizza is fresh. You will wait a little bit, so don't go expecting a quick bite. It takes about 20 minutes to get your pizza when it's not busy. So, that being said, mom was hungry then, so she and I also purchased a small salad to tide us over.Salads are a big thing for us. They came to us ice cold, in chilled bowls, and even chilled forks were provided. The salad ingredients were fresh, and it was clear it was not a bagged mix. There were plenty of dressing choices, and we asked for ours on the side (we don't know if that's normal for them, or if they serve them dressed as normal).I got creamy italian (which is hard to get at any restaurant) and my mom chose thousand island. It was a wonderful start to the meal. When the pizzas arrived, they were PIPING hot and fresh. The crust is thin, and it actually holds itself well. It was cracker crispy, and not soggy, even with the veggie pizza (which normally can make a thin crust wilty with the water content of the veggies put on them). For us, there was PLENTY of cheese without requesting extra cheese. It was stringy and tasted perfect. The veggies on the veggie pizza were fresh. I can't stress it enough...even the tomatoes were firm on the pizza, but not like under ripe. If you love tomatoes, you know what I'm talking about. ;)The triple play pizza had pepperoni, bacon, onion, polish sausage, black olive, and jalapenos. It sounded good on the menu, and was fantastic on the palate. Another plus dining with dad...they had fresh coffee! He will drink soda, but prefers a cup of coffee with his meal, and they did not disappoint. With coupon applied, our total for two medium pizzas, two salads, and 3 beverages was $35.00. That's a great price for the quality of food you get here. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a great pizza that isn't like every chain you see around.IF there was any negative at all, it's the lighting. It is very dimly lit, and has been every time we've gone. Because of that, I have to do the menu reading and ordering, because my parents can't make out things well in print when the lighting is that dim. But, go order a pizza from there, and you will not be sorry!

I stopped by here a couple of Saturdays ago with my wife for dinner. We were staying in Sand Springs and I decided to look up pizza places on Yelp and Minuteman Pizza was tops on the list so we decided to call in an order. We were told that it would be around 20 minutes and waited the appropriate amount of time before heading on over. It is located in a shopping center and was a lot larger than I imagined. This probably has to do with the fact that they have dinner shows. Whenever we entered the restaurant it was mostly empty with one half shut down for the evening and the tablecloths on each table were red and checkered. We proceeded to the back where we grabbed our pizza and headed back to our hotel room. The pizza that we had ordered was a large dairyland dream which the menu describes as lots of bubbly mozzarella, provolone and cheddar. Whenever we opened it up the pizza looked as described with golden bubbly cheese every where. Like all pizzas this one can be broken down into its three major components: cheese, crust and sauce. The cheeses as mentioned above were mozzarella, provolone and cheddar and were melted nicely and had a good flavor to them. Meanwhile the sauce was noticeable on the pizza texture wise but not so much on the flavor. Last but certainly not least was the crust of this pizza, which was thin and probably the best part. It had an almost cracker like texture to it which was nice and something different from most pizzas. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our pizza and thought that the thin crust was the star of it.

Crispy light flavorful. Not Neapolitan or NY pizza but more thin crispy. Long time establishment in SS. Glass of wine would be nice addition. Overall not bad.

Absolute best thin crust pizza on the planet. With a unique flavor in both the crust and sauce made fresh with only fresh ingredients this place is a must stop if in the Tulsa area. Living I. Topeka now, I usually take several take and bake pizzas with me any time I'm in town.

I was looking for a new place to try and was in the mood for pizza, so we decided to venture over to SS on a Friday night. When we first walked in, our waitress told us we could sit anywhere we wanted, which seemed like a joke - over half the seating area was roped off. There were only 2 tiny tables open, so we took one. The decor reminded me of the old pizza places of my youth, with red and white checkerboard tablecloths on small square tables plus a few booths. Some of the signs and pictures were faded, so I'd guess nothing has been changed in a while. The concrete floor looked dirty. Our waitress was attentive, however, and the side salad was better than expected - it did appear to be salad mix, but they added shredded cheese, tomato, and large croutons. Salad dressing was in a packet.I was disappointed by our pizza. The reviews raved and some mentioned an abundance of cheese. We had a passable amount of cheese - there was some, but not a lot by any means. The sausage was okay and they didn't skimp on it. The sauce tasted like regular tomato sauce - no herbs or spices discernible. We did have a thin crust, and the crust is cracker-thin, which I did like. Overall, it was an okay pizza- not the best I've ever had, but by no means the worst. The service was good, as both waitresses seemed attentive and friendly. Our bill came to $30+ for one large one topping pizza plus a side salad and one soft drink (I had water). That seemed kind of pricey, considering what we got.It wasn't a horrible experience, and if I was hungry and nearby, I may give it another try. However, you'd probably get a better, tastier dinner at one of the chain restaurants nearby.
