Mexican Restaurant Mi Torito

Hidden gem in Galena! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! There is a lot of seating, both indoor and out! Sometimes, there is live music! The food is excellent! Some of my favorite are pollo loco and quesadilla de camaron! And ordering queso is a must! They also have so many margarita flavors! Services is so quick, we usually don't have to wait long for our food and the staff are super nice and friendly!

The food was great! Service was very quick. It was easy to find a parking space! We were just passing through and went to pay. Someone in the restaurant paid for our family's meal. What a blessing it was to us! Thank you.

Friendly service. Food is a little bland for my taste. Nice outdoor patio. Easy parking. I wasn't expecting to see the Cars Mater tow truck up the street!

Out on a little trip and drove past this place. It's not really on the beaten path, but only about 10-15 minutes off I44, so worth the time.The restaurant is clean and well staffed, as noted by a few reviews. The chilps and salsa were good, but could benefit with some more cilantro for my taste. Drinks are very affordable and guacamole had a good fresh flavor. For the meal, I was swayed at the last minute by someone else's review, and went with the carne asada. Good choice. The meat had a great flavor and was tender. It was accompanied by a well apportioned fixin plate with all the regular fajita stuff. Nice presentation also, with the grilled onions (that also have a good mild flavor)Overall, a good experience. It's worth the short trip away from all the traffic.

Service and food were great. I highly recommend MI Torito. We ate at MI Torito,'s for the first time, in 2012, while visiting family and we eat there every time we come back to visit family.

Exceptional food with exceptional service! A wide variety of menu choices along with a tasty Margarita list and you will leave more satisfied than when you come in. The atmosphere is fun and colorful. A can't miss.

Still all the stars. We go here quite often. Great food, excellent service and it's always well staffed. We usually end up here at least once a month and are not disappointed.

This place has Great food, amazing service. atmosphere is authentic. Portions are large. Food qualify is awesome. Free Chios and salsa. All male are fresh cooked when your order is placed.
