Food 5Service 5Had the turkey bacon pita sandwich. A very nice surprise. Very tasty and enough for two. The white chocolate salted caramel cookie hit the spot. This place is on the ground floor of an apartment building. Nice outside seating too.

Order and pay at counter, then seat self either inside or outside on the patio. They deliver food to your table. Food is prepared fresh, so allow 15-20 min after ordering for delivery. Self serve water, napkins, utensils and condiments. We ordered the Big Beef sandwich and The Arugula Salad(but had it served as a sandwich). Food is delicious and generous portions for price. Dining room has benches and chairs with TVs placed on closed caption. Busy during lunch hour with steady movement of people through line. Plenty of parking with handicapped accessible in lot.

Kind of a "strip mally" location but the menu was varied enough to satisfy 4 very critical eaters. The food was nicely prepared. We had a couple of salads with protein additions and two of us had the special which was a Cuban sandwich on a flatbread pocket with cups of the daily special beer cheese soup. One of us (me) ate the soup but the other one left half so I am to presume he didn't like it. Both salads seemed to pass muster and while I ate my Cubano, the roast pork should have had more flavor.

The good: a cozy atmosphere. It is also clean. A smaller menu, but lots of good choices. The food is fresh. Ordering is easy. The staff are kind, friendly, and inviting.The not-so-good: the place is very small and therefore very difficult to find a table to sit at, even outdoor seating is hard to come by. My recommendation is that you either show up at 11:00am or after 1:00. Any time in between and its best to get your order to go, though I hardly think that is what people at lunch want to do. Also, the food is fine, not great. I got a burger, my friend got the sweet potato. Both were, again, fine. Needed more seasoning. That is an easy fix, but a fix that is needed. Finally, though the staff was kind & friendly, they looked stressed and overworked. I appreciate that this didn't ruin the experience, but having worked in a few restaurants, this is never a good sign.The bad: our order took 45 minutes to come out. That's right. 45 minutes. This was not true for other folks. I noticed that the people who ordered after us got their food in a timely manner. But not us. After 20mins, I asked about our food and the kind young lady at the counter said she would check on it. Then 10 more minutes went by. A staff member came by to check on us and I told them we still hadn't received our food. She said she would check on it. Ten more minutes. The restaurant was beginning to clear. I went to the counter to ask again, and yet another staff person had to check on it. Finally, after another 5 minutes, the food came out. The staff member told me that the kitchen had somehow lost my ticket or neglected it ... she wasn't sure which. She apologized and then promptly refunded half the meal, which I appreciated and was the right thing to do.Overall: I had a nice time at MELD with my friend, but I am not sure if I will return. I don't like that I have to scrap for a table during lunch like I did in Jr. High. I don't like that my food was bland-ish and neglected or forgotten, even though it came out hot and half was comped. And I don't like that you have to go so far to find the restroom. That said, the staff was friendly, the food is fresh, the prices are reasonable. I would recommended giving it a try, while knowing the pitfalls.

Big portions and great sandwiches! I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the sandwiches I've had. This is coming from a girl who does not normally like sandwiches!

I'm in town doing storm damage recovery from the storms and was looking for somewhere local and unique to grab a bite to eat. I came across this place from some other reviews. The chicken sweet potato was AMAZING!I've never had a sweet potato with chicken... or corn... or anything they put on it. I'm going to have to try and copy this when I get back home, it's sooooo good!!

Meld will definitely stay on my list for a go to sandwich spot. The arugula looked good as a salad alone, but I was craving a sandwich and was able to order it on wheat pita. I love the dressing that came with, it's along the lines of a Thai chili sauce. Even during a busy lunch time, there wasn't a long wait time and it was ready when I arrived. I love a good patio moment and their patio looks like a great spot to enjoy lunch! I look forward to going back and trying more!

So glad we found this place! It doesn't look like much from the outside, and it's tucked away by an apartment complex, but don't let that deter you. This place has great food! I ordered the mushroom carnitas and they were delicious! I upgraded to the side salad, and with both items I left very full! The employees were all super friendly. They had a few vegetarian options so I look forward to going back and trying others. Lots of options in general so there is something for everyone!

Absolutely love this hidden gem! I have been here several times and every single thing has been so good! The Greek and the Spinach artichoke chicken sandwich are my go to's. Every soup I have had has been very flavorful and hearty.

We love this local sandwich shop! I do wish they would add some new menu items and a better variety of soups and sandwiches. Very good !
