Mariscos El Wero

Pros: the place looked great. Clean and well designed. Cute decor. Cons: music was very loud. No hyperbole, but it was the worst seafood I've personally had. Had the raw oysters and they were not good. I had ordered a dozen oysters, luckily they messed up and only brought half. Had a sushi the Tempura sushi and only ate two pieces. Couldn't even finish it. They didn't have crumbs on the outside so it was just sushi they threw on a skillet and cooked the rice. Rice was mushy and overcooked. It was loaded with cream cheese. The eel sauce was terrible. Had some shrimp fajita tacos. Mrs said they were fine, but I didn't care for them. Staff was friendly but not the most professional or on top of it. They brought the oysters with no silverware or crackers or hot sauce. I had to ask twice for them. Mrs went to the bathroom and said it smelled of smoke. Not sure if it was the tobacco or the other kind. She said a waitress was in the bathroom on a phone call with the phone on speaker. All in all. Terrible restaurant experience. Save yourself the time and money. Go somewhere else.

Good beer. Great food. Service was attentive & very polite. I will definitely be going again, I love sea food n love it even more when it's down the street from my house. Keep in mind it was a dead day when I went so you may get a different experience if you go on a packed day.

Clean and good service! Our group ordered the ceviche de camarón y pulpo, coctel de camarón y pulpo, and the aguachile. The ceviche was by far the best! We had a few stale chips but for the most part were good quality. The coctel was LOADED with ketchup which is not my favorite. Traditional mariscos have very little ketchup with ketchup bottles at the table so that each person can add to their liking. Apart from ketchup at the table they also have a a variety of salsas de mariscos which would elevate the dishes so much more. The only thing at the table was valentina but mariscos like these need a variety of salsas to compliment the different dishes. The aguachile was not very spicy, a little too salty but had good flavor. It did seem like the camarones needed to marinate a little more. A little more limón a little less sal! Overall they were good! If a few adjustments were made I would definitely become a regular!!

the 2 things that were good were the Asada and the salsa that came with the burrito. thumbs down for me, we will not be back. They do not have unsweet tea they only have sweet tea which boggles my mind.

Great Service, very nice wait staff. We were greeted at the door. Very nice place inside and outside, all new. I really like the beans and rice. The Fajita steak was tender and tasted great. However the bottom pieces were burnt along with the veggies. I wish the skillet was not so hot to were it chars the food at the bottom. I do know some people say they like that but I don't. The only disappointment were the corn tortillas, they are the plain ones you get at stores like Walmart. I would have liked at least a better tortilla from a small local tortilla vendor around town. The Steak Enchiladas were not to my liking due that they were not traditional. They are not spicy and the steak was seasoned to a flavor I did not particularly like. However if your wanting to try enchiladas that will NOT be traditional or spicy then you may enjoy these. Looking forward to going back and ordering more or a Seafood style dish as that is in the name of this place. Their specialty is seafood and i did not try that yet.
