Mama Tigs Wood-Fired Pizza

Mama Tig's has about a dozen Specialty Pizzas. Some of the combos seemed a little odd. None attractive enough to lure me away from a plain unadulterated sausage pizza. Here it is ordered as the CYO. With the CYO, you can get your pizza anyway you like, with any combination of ingredients. The pizzas come in a 10" and a 14". My 10" sausage was a simple delicious pizza. Mama Tig's makes great pizza! I also got dipping sauces: marinara and pesto. They were a disappointment because they were served directly from the refrigerator, cold. A few seconds in the microwave would have made a big difference.My wife went with the Antipasto Salad. It is a massive pile of arugula, with onion, tomatoes, ham, pepperoni, black olives, mozzarella, and parmesan on a 10" garlic pizza crust. It comes with your choice of dressing. The uniqueness was the garlic pizza bread crust that is cut in to strips to enjoy with the salad. This salad is big enough to be a shareable table salad. My only critique is that the salad was a little light on the meat, olives and cheese. When you eat here, stay focused on the pizzas, that's the restaurant's expertise. We came in on a snowy Friday night, and they had the parking lot cleared, which was great! I really do love their pizza, but I think some of the pricing is a bit high compared to other pizza options in town. I think I'm spoiled by half price pizzas at Bricktown Brewery on Tuesday nights because their pizza is very similar. Service and decor are both fabulous. But I always spend a lot.

Great wood fired pizza, good toppings, thin crust, decent price. Staff was friendly, will be back! Honestly out of the way for most restaurants around town, but no issues making the short drive, it was worth it from 69.

Try them! They have amazing pizza for the meal and dessert and the gelato is the best. I recommend the cauliflower crust pizza and the coffee chocolate chip gelato.
