Magnuson Hotel - Sand Springs

Unhappy birthday to me...the lobby and the pictures are inviting for the price range. When you walk in to large leather chairs then to a room that makes you want to cry.So a quick night out before our weekend-cation next weekend. Well bless their lil hearts those doctored pictures made this hot sheet 4-hour run in run out. Now with the Orkin man and new sheets/bedding and air fresheners in each room, please clean the tub also...hair on the bottomTo say I was disappointed is an understatement. This weekend will be better'er I'm sure. If not I'll let you know

The staff is nice but that's it for this place. A toilet that barely flushes, a shower that takes forever to get hot. A faucet that has no hot water, unless you turn it on underneath. And yes they know about the problem. You can't leave it on either because then it drips. An ac that doesn't cool. Right now it's set at 64 and it's not on. It works but barely. I bought a small fan at Walmart for my week stay.And let's talk about the residents. A guy who parks in 2 parking spots in room 101, running a business out of it. 105 has two dope smokers even though the sign up front says it's not allowed, none smoking rooms. But this sign specifically addressed weed, so you know there is an issue here. And 107 and 109 have some scumbags in them as well. One guy with his dog and he's POS Suv parked on front of his room that's taking up two spaces and never moves with his bicycle chained to it. If you're a scumbag you'll fit right in. Otherwise pay to stay somewhere else.

Leaving early. Bless my aunts heart for trying to surprise me with a hotel room while i'm in town because she usually leaves the planning of hotels up to me and she doesn't go in to reviews and things anyways long story short this place was so gross... i feel like i was part of a law & order episode. starting with the pillows, i wasn't going to leave even after seeing a huge stain that i'm not sure was a really big spill or... who knows.. but the pillow cases had stains on every single pillow. like i get stains in carpets but crusty stains on pillow cases means you definitely didn't even attempt to wash the pillow cases. next, there's crusty stuff all over the bed frame and the couch. now i know people do their business in hotel rooms and if you bring out a black light to any room you're going to see all kinds of stuff but to see all that stuff just in broad daylight... no. on top of that, men were walking around with guns hanging out of the side of their pants and me being a young girl alone decided at 3 in the morning that anywhere else no matter how much was better than there. needless to say, my aunt will let me pick out hotels in the future.

Do not stay here, one night and my husband had horrible bed bug bites all over his body. When we told them about it they called us liars. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!

So at first glance this place really isn't the greatest looking. And that's the best part of this review. So it was my wedding day on the 7th of August. we had booked this hotel so my wife could get ready before the wedding and we were just going to use this hotel afterwards to get away and have a mini honeymoon for a night. Well we got to the hotel after the wedding and preceeded to go up the side door to our room. We got inside, and almost immediately we heard a knock. So I went and answered it. Starts off with some wo.an telling me right off the bat that my wife looks like a whore and she doesn't need to be wearing underwear everywhere. I politely asked her like anyone else would " who the fuck are you?" She said I'm the fucking manager and proceeded to continue to call my wife a whore and told us to leave. So, we did because I'm not trying to have this kinda drama after just dealing with a wedding. So as we were leaving she continued to follow us and scream that my girls a whore and if I had any respect for her I wouldn't let her outside the house. Let me also give a description of what my wife was wearing: a t-shirt that was longer then her shorts so she didn't see the shirts even though I explained she has clothes on. So long story short this is an independent hotel so apparently they can do whatever the he'll they want and get away with it. So this is what I have to do. Write a review on every platform I can so this doesn't happen to anybody else. Also even if my wife was wearing something the manager found to revealing she should have not ever talked to a guest like that. But yet here we are. So ease don't go to this trash of a hotel its not worth the drama or the money trust me...

It's 7:51 and instead of sitting in the hot tub I'm waiting to see if the AC quits again it's 78 degrees in our room and the maintenance man thinks he has it fixed this time yay for their amazing customer service

Booked one night at this Best Western for a work trip in early 2013. I was actually shocked at how nice the rooms were given the location. The manager Bobby was super nice and gave me directions and recommendations on where to eat which was much appreciated. The fitness room was a joke and the pool is outdoors so no year-round swimming. Overall for a one-night stay that was for work I'd give this BW a thumbs up. DFTBA ~ chase

Yikes. We booked this hotel because it had reasonably good ratings. It should not have had as good of ratings as it did. We got into the hotel and immediately knew we made a mistake. The smell was unbearable. We had to buy air freshener to get rid of it. The carpet felt damp and just overall gross to step on barefoot. We felt the need to wear shoes every time we stepped foot on it. The lamp shade had what looked like a urine stain on it and the room was crawling with cockroaches. When we went to inspect the bathroom, we were first met by a sideways leaning door that was a pain to close along with a curly fry in the corner of the bathroom. After two nights of being there, we took the do not disturb sign off of the door because we needed more towels (they only provided us with two) and more toilet paper. They gave us new towels but failed to provide more toilet paper. On top of that, there were no fitted sheets on the beds. It was simply a bare mattress with a sheet, thin blanket, and a duvet. There was also no elevator for the top floors. It makes it a difficult experience to haul heavy luggage to rooms on the top floor. This was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

Nice staff very helpful Fax machine didn't work Room was nice ac was cold Chinese restaurant next door was good and inexpensive I stayed there a week Sand springs was a nice place
