MacCheesy

Nice place for some home-style Mac-n-cheese. They have some interesting flavors (I'm a fan of the Pesto Chicken and Taco Mac) and some pretty tasty dessert options. They are even open on holidays that other restaurants would be closed on.

The food is overpriced and very bland. Basically, I've had much better Mac n cheese out of a box. Also, the wait time for 2 Mac n cheeses turned out to be 45 minutes.

I was in town with my husband and kids. we chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews and thought it would be kid friendly. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience due to the shift lead/manager on duty.First our meals all came out at different times. The two kids meals came out after we had ordered 15+ min, then 15+ min later mine, and then 10+ min after that my husband's and other daughter's was how we finally all got food. I will say the rest of my family was pleased with their food. they said it was hot and tasty. However, my burger came out cold. the bun seemed like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, my burger cold and hard, cheese unmelted, and the cast iron dish it came in was room temp. When the worker came to bring my husband and daughter's food I did complain because it was inedible. This person (she claimed.to be the shift lead/manager on duty) immediately got defense that there was no way it was cold, it has been on the grill for 20 min. I told her it was (and with her attitude) I said I wanted a refund. She informed me that it was company policy they did not give refunds, and she could give me loyalty points. I told her I was from out of town and that would not help. At this point she wasn't just being defensive, she was also being just flat out rude and snotty telling me it wasn't her fault.She offered to make me some Mac n cheese instead, and I informed her that I was diabetic thus ordering the burger. I asked her to at least have it remade. She told me NO that it would be the same. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the shift lead/manager on duty and the only one I could talk to. I asked for the corporate number and she told me they were not corporate. I then asked for the owner, and she said she couldn't give me the number.I admit at that point I was irate. She was defensive, rude, and just out right nasty to me. I want to know what happened to customer service. I have done good service, customer service, sales, and management most of my life. I have never been spoken to/treated so horribly by a restaurant worker none the less a "manager." I finally had enough and stated that if she would do nothing then I would call my bank and have our $70 charge reversed since I did not get actual edible food. She said fine and stomped off. I proceeded to contact my bank. In that time she must have called the owner or a manager above her because I heard her complaining about me to someone on the phone right behind me. She did get me a refund and came over and slammed it on the table next to me staying "here is your refund." She then turned and stomped off without another word to me.Needless to say I will NEVER go to a MacCheesey again ever no matter where I travel. They seem to not care about their customers or how the staff treats them if the owners allow such behavior from their employees and refuse to speak with customers.

Everything was cold in the middle sent them back and waited and not worth the $100 I spent there .. for a family of 3 adults and 3 kids...

Sometimes you just need a pile of hot chewy noodles mixed with your comfort cheese sauce. This place gives you the traditional comfort food of my youth with all the fixings you can add to make it yours! They oven bake it with crispy panko and serve it in a cast iron skillet! This is not for high brow dining, thus is for flavor and comfort. They also have some amazing milkshakes but I was full after the broccoli cheddar and garlic Mac that I created! Good thing I don't live in Joplin or I would be eating here all the time and gain so much weight! Love this place!

Stopped by during our road trip because our friend's kid loves max & cheese. He enjoyed his chicken bacon ranch mac & cheese that came in a skillet. My husband prefers his pizza mac & cheese. The noodles can be a little more al dente. Garlic knots are decent too. The drinks look really interesting, but we didn't try it.

Traveling through the area and decided to stop in since we'd never been here before. Everything was great! We also got a ceasar salad I really liked. Not sure if you can do this or not, but I would recommend trying to see if you can get the four cheese as your base, and then adding the toppings you want. Also whoever the young girl with dark brown hair and long eyelashes was around 1:30PM 3/18/23 was fantastic. She was super sweet, patient (while we were trying to make decisions), helpful and genuinely seemed happy. Maybe a littleeee pricey, but still glad we stopped!

Portions are slightly smaller, however they are trying new selections of food. Will always hold a place in my heart. I have no qualms with the service. For a place I'd expect to be more lively, they are rather lax. Great for someone just getting out of work. Perfect place for kids/families or connoisseurs of the cheesy arts!

Ordered pizza Mac and let me say it has me praying to the Mac and cheese gods every week.

I went to MacCheesy's with my children when we were driving through to get some food and a treat, and I honestly was not expecting much. But after we got our orders, I was pleasantly surprised with how good and well-prepared the food was. Everything was absolutely delicious, even my kids ate their entire meal. The lobby area was also very clean and it's set up very nicely. Another thing I thought to add was the phenomenal service we received. The beautiful girl at the front desk nicely greeted us and seemed genuinely interested in how our travels have been. I believe her name was Taija and is the manager of this restaurant, but either way, she made our experience 10x better.
