Love's Travel Stop

I take Starlight here once in a blue moon when she travels with me and she Love's it.I've had more than a few loves in my day but this one in Oklahoma is especially important to me because I spent a nice safe cozy night here sleeping, after driving all the way up from Houston leaving in mid-afternoon. I spent a good few hours in Dallas getting drunk on bubble tea and custard tarts, so by the time I got here I was ready to pass out and I did. Nobody bothered me through the night which was great. Safe and peaceful.In the morning I indulged in some gas for the car, spent some time using their toilet and overpriced shower facilities, and buying a few things from their store. They are well stocked and clean with plenty of choices in every Department. Four stars only because of the price of convenience store items and showers, otherwise it'd be 5.

Gas station out in the middle of nowhere between Springdale, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma on US 412. Very easy to get off the highway and back, which is a major bonus for me. I like easy.Very wide pump area, with separate areas for cars and trucks. The shop (you'd have to walk there in the rain from the pumps) has sodas, candies, snacks and a Subway restaurant. Prices are pretty good, considering that there's nothing else for miles and miles.

Pretty much in the middle of no-where lol, but we needed a charger for our phones in the rental car we have- so since this was the first truck stop that we came upon(another thought was to go to a Walmart or Target), stopped here and of course was able to get the thing we needed. Didn't need a refill on my soda so didn't get one, or didn't get gas since we didn't need that either.

So I was trying to locate my cousins in Chouteau OK but was having a problem locating a phone number. I called this truck stop & asked the woman on the phone, Brooklyn, to help me. She looked in the local phone book and got me a number. It lead to reuniting my cousins and I after 15+ years. After traveling 1400 mile to see them, I stopped to thank Brooklyn but as fate would have it she was off. I had a nice conversation with the locations Manager & expressed my gratitude! The seemingly smallest act of kindness can have the BIGGEST impact on someone's life. Thank You Brooklyn!

Not a good one compared to Eufaula South of here or back up in Joplin. Filthy bathroom toilet paper not changed. Messy drink area half and half creamer had French Vanilla in both. Subway dining area dirty tables. Just one of the mismanaged ones but there are 6 more Loves Travel Stops going South on US 69....Hmm come to think of it Eufaula only little over an hour and a half away and Godfathers Pizza sounding good. LOL. Think I'll truck down to there. Keep the shiny side up and the smooth side down 10/4 I'm gone

Horrible staff, stood there for what seemed 10 minutes was about to walk away because I thought maybe they were closed. Some employee finally showed up, had to repeat my order every step of the way. Then they tell me they can't ring me up on their registrar so I have to wait in line at the loves registers to pay for this pathetic sub. Take my advice, go somewhere else !!!

Very clean facility, inside and out, fast pumps, friendly service and a good selection of merchandise.

Be warned-Hot water in women's bathroom is scalding hot immediately! I told the clerk but he was unconcerned.
