Prompt welcome and drink order at your table. We had burgers, hand cut fries, and the freshest, simple house salad that I've had in years. My favorites were the fries and salad--so fresh. The cheeseburger, "The Mick" was made from all fresh ingredients. My dining partner had the cheeseburger with bacon.Great hospitality also! We were on a day trip in the very NE corner of Oklahoma. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll come back for a meal.*They had a Prime Rib Roast special on the board for Saturday evening.

I've been going here since the 90's. Never disappoints! They know how to smoke their meat like nobody else.

This is definitely somewhere that looks very unassuming from the outside, but once you walk inside it has a fun feel to it. I definitely expected the inside to match the look of the outside, and I figured it would be really dirty, old, and run down but that wasn't true. It was clean and cute, kind of with a somewhat country rustic feel, which makes sense since they do BBQ.Another thing that surprised me was how many options there were on the menu. They had a BBQ section of course, but there were also burgers, sandwiches, salads, and even a Mexican section!!! I was tempted to try some of the Mexican food because it seemed like an interesting addition to the menu, but I decided to go more with what they're known for most.I ordered the brisket, which comes with beans, toast, and two sides. For my sides I got a garden salad and cheese balls. I honestly wasn't sure if by cheese balls they were gonna be those weird little orange balls covered in cheese dust or more like mozzarella sticks cut into ball sized chunks. It was the latter, so I figured I'd give them a try. You could have two choices, either cheddar cheese or jalapeño (pepper jack) cheese. Of course, I went with the spicier option. They were good, and definitely had a strong cheesy flavor. My only complaint is that they didn't give me very many... it was like 8 little balls. It made me think they just grabbed two sticks of string cheese, sliced them into four pieces each, then tossed them into the fryer. Again, they were yummy which is one reason why I wanted more of them!!! The salad wasn't anything special. Just lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch served with crackers. I was surprised at how sweet the beans were, and the toast was standard but good with a nice amount of buttery crispiness! I also tried sides from other people. I really loved the slaw and the squash (fried) and would definitely recommend either of those two!!! The slaw was more flavorful and creamy and softer than most other slaws and the squash was this fried mushy goodness. I realize my description of that doesn't sound great but it was!The brisket meat was sliced very thin, which I liked. I'm more used to thicker slices so it was a nice change. They were smoky but also fairly sweet. It comes with BBQ sauce already drizzled on top. My only other complaint about this place was that when I asked if they had any spicier BBQ sauce they said they didn't have any, only ketchup and regular BBQ sauce. I was honestly pretty shocked by that... I figure any real BBQ joint that's good would at least have another type of BBQ sauce other than just sweet!!! And, it was a pretty sweet one... It's not so much that they didn't have a spicier option even (though I really really wish they did!) but just that they only had one BBQ sauce at all!!! Oh well. Staff was also very friendly. One even overheard our conversation about other food and gave us a recommendation on a place she really likes nearby! Overall a good place, and I'd come back to try other stuff from the menu.

This place was straight trash, I ordered the 5 item meal and got chicken, brisket, hot links ribs and Turkey...It was gross to say the least and it costed me 18 dollars, and for 18 dollars youd think youd get quite a bit of food but the portions where ridiculous, everything was so sweet and of poor quality...What really surprised me is it looked like they went to Walmart and grabbed a pack of turkey lunch meat and threw it on the grill...

Awesome food, always packed, home made everything, everyone in the fire department eats here daily and that's about the best recommendation you can get anywhere.

It use to be a Family Restaurant but now it is more of a burger and BBQ place. It is not what you would expect for this kind of restaurant for this area. Me and my wife stopped in here after we got married 20 years ago. It was way better when it was a Family diner than the BBQ place they turned it into. I will not stop in here again. I rather go hungry than spent $11 for very little food.

The food was all pre-breaded and frozen. Just a heat em up and throw it on the table restaurant. I figured since it was small it would be more homemade than that. But all the stuff they served I could have bought at the grocery store, if I ate that way. I left hungry and very disappointed. They should do well since they are in a small town, they have a captive audience.

Food was fantastic, great Route 66 vibe. I pass this place quite often but have never stopped because from the outside it doesn't look like much. This time I felt I had to and I was glad I did. Inside it's definitely small town America however the taste delivered. Friendly "old school" staff and some unique flavors to some of the dishes. Down let the exterior cause you to pass this one up, you'll be glad you stopped, especially if you're looking for some of Mom's old style cooking.
