staff was so nice and friendly. anything you needed they were there for youso many things to do while at grand lake. loved the pontoon boats available

We stayed here a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time staying 2 nites in a cabin on the edge of the lake with a deck and hot tub on it. The room was spotless and hospitality was great . Tawny was such a breath of fresh air for us to work with. She took pictures of our room before we got there and helped us to locate a for sale property on the lake in the resort on the edge of the lake. We found it to be in our budget and bought a lakeside modular home. We love everyone there and the friendliness is just unmatched anywhere.

I am very unhappy. We stayed at Lee's Resort a few weeks ago and booked a 2 night stay. We had to put down a $250 deposit and the $95/night turned into $270/night with all the fees not including the deposit. When we checked out I asked about when we would get the deposit and I was told it would take a couple days to get it returned. There were no issues with the room and so I expected it back. Now it has been 3 weeks and still no deposit back. I sent an email and did not get a response. I called and I was told it was sent but there would be a delay due the the bank holiday. A few days later I still don't have it back. I have asked them to call me to get this resolved and I only got one email with no response only a receipt that shows the $200 deposit was taken off our bill but the credit card shows we paid $750 with no credit. I think all these fees are a scam and the deposit is definately a scam. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

We stayed in Cabin 11 with a wonderful spa, working kitchen, beautiful view. Platoon boat rental with concierge service: they brought the boat to the dock, and waited until a bit extra late to rope us in. Made sure we had one life jacket per person, excellent and clean boat, reasonable pricing. Personable staff, neighborly feeling, all fishing basics available on site, with laundry, pool, activities for kids. Highly recommended!

My 4 star rating is taking into account that this is a no frills, 1 bedroom, with a loft bed cabin rental.We stayed in cabin 9. Sept 20-23.The cabin had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. It appeared clean but the floors are in desperate need of a deep scrub. What wasn't visible to the naked eye was a thick layer of black goo on the bottom my feet. So we wore shoes at all times.There is a soft sided hot tub on the porch that felt great on one of the cooler evenings we were there.The property is a lot tighter than it appears in pictures meaning the lots are very close to each other. There are a lot of longterm rentals or private cabins and trailer homes that are decorated in varying fashions. I found it charming while walking my dog around the resort. We rental the 90 hp pontoon boat and it ran great. We had no problems. The guy who works the dock area was great and told us all about the boat and areas to go and avoid on the lake.All the resort staff were really great. All seemed laid back and respectful. I'd definitely recommend for the family. Some things to keep in mind.... the resort is on a cliff directly above the water. The stairs to get to the dock for boating or fishing are very steep. There is no beach for swimming near the resort but there is a pool.

Wonderful staff. If you are trying to get a cabin/nature experience, this is the place to go! Just know that you are paying for the view and NOT the quality of the cabin. This is an older establishment and the stove, oven, microwave, and coffee pot show that. Bring your own cleaning supplies and pots/pans. What they have in the cabin has been used too many times. Bring your own sheets/pillows as well. The ones provided are stained and not washed well. Although they have military memorabilia everywhere, they do not offer military discounts. They also prejudice towards dog breeds. Don't put your feet near the bathrooms bottom cabinets as there are tacks/nails poking out of the floor. The beds are just springs at this point and my guess is the furniture has never been cleaned. Good luck going down the stairs to the dock. I wouldn't trust those stairs with my life.

The cabin has a stunning view of the lake. The bedrooms in the cabin are very small and have minimal storage space. No shampoo or conditioner is provided only a deodorant soap is provided. Breakfast contains 6 items. Watch out for the spiders and spider webs everywhere on the docks. Overall, the cabin is ok and adequate for sleeping after a long day on the lake.

We rented a bass boat and we had an absolute blast! They were so nice and easy to rent from. They aren't like many many boat rentals that want an arm and a leg for a 8 hour rental. The boat was brought to the dock for us and topped off with fuel. We loaded up and took off. They were back at the dock when we came back and made it easy for a novice boat driver to land back on the dock. Tied the boat up and helped us off. Everyone there were super friendly and helpful. No surprise fees or and goofy stuff. We appreciate their kindness and help. My only scuff was the website picture of the bass boat doesn't accurately reflect what the boat really looks like but it ran like a champ anyway. Family owned.

Horrible customer service. Cabins weren't clean. Hot tubs was green and cold. Didn't have adequate bedding or beds(couch didn't pull out. Was broken) for my family. Was over charged because supposedly there records didn't show the correct number of people on my reservation. I have several confirmation emails proving otherwise. Found pills on the floor. Mold covering the ceiling because the indoor hot tub in the penthouse. Contacted health department(public record of several write-ups) after we tried speaking with management and they were EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Go to CANDLEWYCK if you'd like a family friendly stay in Grove ok.

Beware! Not a resort to begin with. No boats for rent or marina. Stairs to water are very steep. No winter rates. They offer a cabin with lofts but not enough space to even sit up in. Hot tub and deck are tiny, can't sit and see water. No nothing in the kitchen. No pots or pans, dishes, utensils, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels but they do have single ply tp! They DO have a toaster and coffee machine with no filters or cups. Then I see they sell it in their office. Claims covid rules. 2nd bigger cabin had wharped floors due to shower. Do you think they replaced a too short curtain even after extensive floor damange? No. Can't sit on front porch chairs because dirty and nothing to clean them off with. Grills out front not usable. Dirty with spider webs and broken. They don't return calls. Office closes and they are gone. They are not busy, they are full of crap. One word CHEESY and I feel ripped off!
