We decided to go to our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The server Roberto was excellent! He helped me with my Spanish and I helped him with English. Overall, we communicated very well. My wife and I decided to order the alambre with shrimp for two. There was so much deliciousness in the food, we ended up taking some home. The Sangria swirl margaritas are always fantastic! Tonight, we tried their grilled jalapeño and onions. They complimented the dinner entree and are worth ordering again. It's nice to have the Mexican music playing in the background of where you can still carry on with a conversation. The television was showing a Mexican rodeo. Quite entertaining! Next time you're looking for a place to eat, go to Las Cazuelas!

Las Cazuelas is our FAVORITE Mexican restaurants in Bixby! And our go-to entree here is the fajitas - whether it's Alambre, grilled chicken & steak, grilled shrimp, veggie, or a combo of all, they're all seasoned to perfection! Tonight, we enjoyed the flavorful Alambra with added shrimp! The Alambre is loaded with grilled chicken, steak, cooked with onions, and topped with cheese and bacon! Served with rice, beans, and salad. The food servings are abundant and served with a warm smile! And don't forget their 2/1 margaritas! It comes in a large glass with a nice mix of liquor; not your average, weak, drink specials found at other restaurants/bars. Although the restaurant is located on Memorial Dr, it's often overlooked in this shopping center. If you've not been to Las Cazuelas, I highly recommend giving them a try! Like other businesses, they are feeling the financial pains of increased cost of goods and need our community support. After patroning the restaurant for two years, I've experienced the same great service with a smile! I hope you enjoy as wonderful a time and recommend them to others!

Date of review 1/5/23Bixby residents, congratulations! You now have an option for mediocre Mexican food, slow service and lousy salsa; Las Cazuelas Restaurant. It appears to be a spin off, cousin, bother, sister or whatever to the Las Cazuelas found amongst the excessive accumulation poor Mexican restaurants in Muskogee. Like the plague of fire ants and armadillos that are migrating northward, so are the Mexican restaurants. A new one opens every day in Oklahoma. The details of my visit are not worth my time to write or your time to read. Las Cazuelas Restaurant in Bixby is unimpressive. Your better options for good Mexican food in Bixby are Tijuana's Grill & Cantina, The Real Taco and Uncle Paco's Mexican Grill. Try'em!

The chicken fajitas are $12.99 and that's a price I have not seen in years for yummy fajitas.Try the Bixby dish...it's lot of yummy Mexican rice topped with fajita chicken, grilled sliced mushrooms, grilled onions and peppers, tomatoes, sauce, and tortillas on the side. Delicious.Portions are ample!For margaritas, I did not want the margarita mix or sweet and sour mix used in most of their drinks, so I asked for a skinny margarita with only lime juice and Patron Silver, and it was great. TLDR: Las cazuelas is a solid addition to the Mexican options in the area. The service was efficient and the food was good! We appreciate all forms of Mexican/Tex Mex and this is a welcome middle ground option for this area, rounding out the overly Tex Mex Uncle Pacos and the borderline taco truck Taco Real. The salsa was good, with just enough spice and not overly chunky or tasting of just tomato. Chips were crisp, thin, and fresh. The menu offered a good variety to be expected from this mode of Mexican food and we will definitely be back to try more of it soon! I chose the carnitas enchiladas, which were excellent. The cheese enchilada base was among the better cheese enchilada's I've had recently, and the addition of fajita peppers to the typical carnitas enchiladas elevated this dish to above average. Hubby had the pollo con queso, which he rated 5 stars as well. We will come back soon to update our review with more of the menu.

We ate at "the Bowl" last night and wanted fajitas. We ordered the classic fajitas; they listed about six or more different styles of fajitas. The classic fajitas is a pile of greasy very thin strips of chicken and beef and not what we were expecting.Service was mediocre; we had to ask for tortillas and plates to eat the meal.I don't think we'll be back but if you go ask for detailed descriptions of the various fajita dishes.

Decided to check this place out as I am a big fan of Mexican food, and let me sum up this review in one word - alright.We got there pretty early, but it was already a bit busy. I don't mind having to wait a while and me and my son sat down. A big thing about Las Cazuelas I noticed was just the sheer amount of options. The menu was four pages long! Definitely an impressive variety of Mexican food. The first salsa I tried was the one served to you as soon as you sit down, the red sauce. It was honestly pretty bland, and nothing I haven't had before. I then tried the queso (one of the most important things for me) and it was pretty good! We ate the entire bowl, and things were looking up. We requested a spicy salsa, and the waiter said he would bring it right out. It took asking 5 times for us to get it, and we had to ask a different waiter. We then got our food. I got the Mexican fajitas, and they were as expected. Nothing incredibly special but still decent. One big thing I want to point out is that it is unlikely you'll be able to change anything you order. I asked for no beans, and got beans. My son asked for black beans instead of the ones that came with his dish, and he got the ones that came with the dish.The waiter we had was also slow at answering our questions and delivering our food. While waiting for our food, a family of six walked in. By the time our food came they had already been served and left. Their server was the one who finally got us the hotter salsa.In conclusion, Las Cazuelas is an alright restaurant , but there are better places in the area if you want Mexican.
