The parking lot was full. I almost didn't go in thinking there would be a wait. I was pleasantly surprised there was no wait. The restaurant is very large. But the kitchen seemed to handle it well. I was in/out within an hour. I also would worry a large places might be noisy, but it was not. Service was also quick despite the number of people. I also saw a steady stream of to-go orders, which is always a good sign. I ordered the Pad Thai. I really liked it. I equate it to the Pad Thai a few miles away at Tropical. I might pick this one over theirs. But I would not hesitate to go with either one. I picked a level 3. It was not spicy at all to me. I enjoy jalepenos but don't consider myself a super hot food eater. Next time I will go with a level 4. My teenager would not have batted an eye at this level 3. I almost wondered if they forgot to put it in. I do wish they had pictures of the dishes. As a visual person it would help me choose something different than the pad Thai goto staple. I also wish these places would offer a pad Thai combo to allow those of us less experienced to try new things without it being a full commitment to something unknown. . But I do not fault this place. It is something I rarely see at Thai places.

Pretty typical Thai food. I appreciated the amount of veggies in the dishes. But everything was a bit too sugary. The dumpling apps tasted like low quality frozen dim sum. Service is good, very quick. We did run out of water a few times though. I ordered a hot tea, expecting a tea pot and loose leaf jasmine; what I got was a giant mug of warm water with 1 tea bag in it. The restaurant looks like it used to be a sports bar, lots of brick walls and a large bar area. I did appreciate the lack of TV's, it's nice not having screens everywhere. Not sure if I would go back...there just seems like a lot of other good options in town.

so, i decided to use reddit to help me make my choice for the best fried rice in tulsa. that was my first mistake. lol. i've had lanna thai's food before, and i genuinely enjoyed my previous experiences. the only reason i found my experience less than desirable was due to:1. the fried rice severely lacking in flavor 2. an ant crawling across the table i was sitting atthe service was standard. i'll go back and try other things, but the ants on the tables made me lose my appetite so it might be awhile.

Holy moly, has food gotten more expensive in the past year or what? Pad Thai $18 and yum yum salad $17.I must admit the portion size of the entrees at Lanna Thai is more than generous. It really can be split into 2 meals; pros and cons there. The thing with Lanna Thai is what you order will either make it or break it. The first time I came here I got the pad se ew and did not like it. This time I loved the pad Thai and yum yum salad. The pad Thai at Lanna Thai was amazing with jumbo shrimps, chicken, and tofu. The yum yum salad was also delish. It had a lemon fish sauce base so if you don't like fish sauce, then stay away from it.At Lanna Thai, do yourself a favor and get the pad Thai if you decide to give it a try.

Yum yum yum!! This place is so good. My waitress was so nice and her giggles and kindness was so pleasant. She did a great job serving me. The food ordered that she helped me choose was very good. The layout and everything is nice in here.

There is plenty of parking in the front and side of the restaurant. We have eaten here several times. I appreciate the option in several dishes for gluten free sauce. I wasn't a fan of the Lanna spring rolls, I liked the peanut sauce that came with it but the rolls themselves I didn't like. My pad Thai was really good, I like that they combine shrimp, tofu and chicken in the pad Thai. I had asked for medium spice level and it wasn't quite spicy enough on this visit. The severs are friendly and the food typically comes out quickly. They are normally busy but pretty efficient in working their sections so the waits aren't too long.

I have been searching to find the best chicken panang in the town and Lanna Thai so far has came very close to taking the lead on it (solid 8/10) after 6 other Thai restaurants. We always order Satay gai as appetizer and I was impressed by size of the chicken, usual it comes out on tiny sticks. My only drawback is the prices, little bit too overpriced for entree portions and drinks.

Always great food, fresh ingredients and some of the friendliest wait staff. They always make sure your food is fixed just the way you want.... Spicy from zero (my preference) to 5. The restaurant is great for family night or that special occasion. One of my favorite places to eat in all of Tulsa
