Just visiting from Seattle. Not as green as I'm used to, but still a pleasant trail run on a nice day.

A great pet-friendly walking trail! It was a little under 3 miles to walk all the way around, but it was a wide path right next to the streets and golf course at the park. The path takes you past the playground, little ponds, baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and more. It was great to take my puppy for a long walk with so many things to see -- and sniff!

Pros: Tulsa is so lucky to have a park like this. My husband enjoys the golf courses. My step kids liked the park. I enjoy the jogging/walking trail. Cons: I had this friend who had her car broken into twice here. But she's the only person I know who's ever complained of that.

I have only lived in the area for about two months, but I already know that LaFortune park and the surrounding neighborhood get a bad rap. I actually really enjoy this park, and think that if you want some thing not as intense as the gathering Place, this is a great park to take your kids to. There are plenty of things to do, and it is walkable to plenty of places to grab food at. Sure, you get a lot of teenage riffraff from the neighborhood in the high school nearby, but just keep a good ion your kid. I've never felt threatened at this park, I just keep my daughter away from the basketball courts because it's usually full of teenage boys. The park stays pretty clean. I also golfed here once, and for a public course, it's a pretty good golf course.

This park has a special place in my heart because it's where I had my first official 'date' with the man who would later become my husband. I put the link to that story below!I love the 3 mile running track - spent lots of time on this track with friends and family. Now that I have kids, we bring them to play at the park. It's come full circle :).Here's the story of us: https://kathrynegly.com/2017/11/16/the-story-of-us-where-it-all-began/

LaFortune Park is a true Tulsa staple to me. Most recently, it's a great place to play Pokemon Go if you're into that. One of my favorite things about the park is how well marked the distance is on the perimeter track. It's 3.25 miles around the whole park which is a great distance for running, walking to get in some steps, riding a bike, or taking a coffee and walking on a date. If you have little ones, there is a ton to do here such as vast playground equipment, sights to explore around the creek, and ice cream trucks in the summer. If you like golf, this is a great park to check out.In addition to the multitude of outdoor activities to be enjoyed here, it is a great location. It is situated right next to Saint Francis Hospital, you know just in case, and next to Kingspointe Shopping Center which has great choices for a meal before or after your adventures.Basically no matter your age, there is something fun for you to get out and enjoy at LaFortune Park!

LaFortune Park was a beautiful 50+ year old Tulsa park until very recently Most of the mature trees and bushes were removed, tall glaring lights were installed and plenty of concrete, asphalt and black metal fencing was added Oh but they did build a very nice wooden sign at the corner of 51st and Yale telling people all about the trees that used to be there

Playgrounds galore! My daughter hadn't been this excited about a playground since.. Um.. Never. This play has several playgrounds grouped conveniently close together. Great for families.

This park is actually a really refreshing place to go. The City has put some money into keeping it nice. Running trails, playground and a little man made stream in the middle. Perfect for a picnic, birthday party or playing with your kids on the swings. It is clean, mostly... I've been there for a run! Pretty nice indeed.

Range only review. When it hasn't poured the past couple of days, I prefer coming to this range as it's closer to home vs. South Lakes. It's always clean and well kept. Modern main building. Definitely call ahead to check as the drainage here isn't as great as South Lakes.

Course was very well maintained. Staff was great. Disappointed though. Our team paid full price for 18 holes for the par 3 and we were kicked off after just playing 9 holes. We were not issued a refund. My recommendation would be to address of the strict cut off time or allow players to continue playing without lights being shut off.
