LA Roma Pizza

I've been here so many times over the years and absolutely live this place. Many of my friends- vegan (like myself), vegetarian, and meaty- as well as family, are similarly enamored of it. This joint has my favourite falafel and baba ganoush in town. The falafel is of the tahini preparation and you can order it spicy if that's your thing (it's mine and they do it right). Their hummus is great and the tabouli is as well. The service is some of the best in town. The folks who work here are so kind and so good at their work! The menu has several vegan items and the staff are able to talk intelligently about what is vegan if you have questions- which is shamefully rare in Tulsa.

"5 out of 5 stars!", that's what my son says every time we go. We always start with a cabbage roll (from the Lebanese menu) and always end up with a combination of Italians Lebanese food because we can't decide. But today we got a cabbage roll, my son got the tomato basil soup and garlic bread, an all meat pizza and a triple threat pizza. All was so good. And we love the owner and staff. TheyAre always so nice. Wish we lived closer, we would be by weekly.

The food here was delicious. Cabbage rolls had a sauce that was like grandma cooked it. They were the best cabbage rolls I've tasted in a restaurant. The pizza had a good crust. Nice and crisp and plenty of toppings. Free refills on drinks is nice too. The downside was the time you had to wait to get your food. We should have had our cabbage rolls come out before the pizza because we waited around an hour if not hour 20 to get the food. The food was worth the wait but we were starving by the time we got it. Had leftovers and they were just as good reheated.

Great place for lunch or dinner and even takeout is great. It is very popular expect to wait a little bit in line.

If I'm honest, I would do a 3.5 here but this is such a Tulsa institution. I love the atmosphere--it feels like it could be in NYC or Boston (or some other big city). It's truly a family run establishment. I love both of these things.We tried the Triple Threat not really knowing what we were getting. But, it was good. Not too spicy for us but I could see that some might deem it such. (When we ordered it, the older woman taking our order started fanning herself and when it was delivered, the waiter said "Good luck.") I would order it again but I wish we had ordered two small pies of different varieties. We also had the house salad and it was great with lots of cheese and a great oregano spice.I would love to come back and try some of the other foods like the cabbage roll, hummus and gyros.

Very friendly staff! They catered to my needs by customizing a pizza to my liking even though it was not on the menu. Toppings: half Alfredo sauce (my personal favorite and half garlic sauce, and then it had chicken, buffalo hot sauce, jalapeños and Parmesan. Must try and hopefully this gets added to the menu!

My son and I tried La Roma for the first time. We had heard good things about this family restaurant. We beat the dinner rush, and they were quite busy following us which shows they have a good following. It's a small, family run business. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. We tried their tomato basil soup, which very delicious. We also tried a medium veggie pizza, and it was very good as well. The crust was medium thickness, with plenty of veggies and mozzarella cheese. We hope to come back and try the Lebanese Mediterranean food next time. I'd definitely recommend you try this local restaurant.

Great local spot. Pizzas were made to order and excellent. Generous with the tops and a nice crisp crust- I normally don't care for the thinner crust and consider the out part as merely a handle to eat with. Not at La Roma. Finished all of it Service was efficient and Extremely patient/helpful.

Obviously this place is excellent since its been in business for a very long time! Finally got to try it, we had the Tabuli it was more onion and leafy for my taste I was expecting more of a Freddie's steak house style it wasn't bad just not my preference. By far they have the best cabbage rolls as I've ever had 5 star. We had a veggie pizza it was outstanding definitely going to make it a regular stop. Comfortable place small so go early.

Great spot in Tulsa for pizza. Recipes passed down from generations past. Will say based on size of kitchen sometimes orders run behind but the service and quality make up for it.
