La Quinta by Wyndham Tulsa Airport / Expo Square

The pictures online are deceptive. Room run down, pillowcases yellowed, totally dirty parking lot and bad area of town; low price but not low enough. Absolutely would not recommend at all.

Upon check-in the female manager told me that if I were to give a perfect review she could get $20 that's before I even entered my room. When I entered room number 1 2 3 the refrigerator had been turned off and there was rotten smelly food in there with some spilled in the bottom of the refrigerator. I brought the rotten food in a trash can down to the manager and she said absolutely nothing. The manager did not offer to give me a clean trash can . There was a pubic hair on the washcloth, I switched rooms because it was so filthy, down the side of the mattress was stained. A chair that the fabric was peeling off. I then was moved to room 119 which again was not clean. I wanted a wake-up call but there was no telephone in the room so a nice young guy named Sean brought me a phone. I then called the manager to say there's the phone here now but there's no cord to plug it in and she told me that if I wanted a cord I would have to move back to room 123. Sean went above and beyond by taking my phone number and calling me at 1:00 in the morning for my Wake Up Call from his own private cell phone. He deserves a raise! What great customer service. As you can see in the picture they say that it's been renovated that is a lie. What a filthy Hotel this is do not stay there! This room costs over $88 a night that is theft in my opinion they should reimburse me for at least three quarters of the price how ridiculous.

I would not recommend this hotel to even to use their facilities. I booked a room for my daughter who was flying in to drop off my grandson for one night. When I spoke to the representative on their booking site I was told this would be okay. So I proceeded with the transaction. Unfortunately this hotel and booking company do not communicate. My daughter was rejected by the general manager, Mariah with her quoting a policy that she must be 21 to stay ( 21 in less than a month), even though I paid for this room in full already. Nothing was negotiable at all leaving her out in the cold until her flight leaves tomorrow back to California. I cannot believe that this woman was so cold and heartless. I can only hope that they too have kids and have something similar in nature happen to them. As for me I will never spend any of my money here again and I will make sure I spread the word that La Quinta is a shady operation and don't book here. Worst hotel stay. This place is horrible. Toilet didn't flush right--half the time it wouldnt flush or you would have to hold the handle down the second time to get it flush and refill. Breakfast was tragic. No coffee. No juice. No biscuits for the crusted over gravy. Plates but no forks, no cups for pancake batter. No bowls for cereal. Disgusting breakfast area, milk was warm. Rude staff--watched a guy tell her the OJ was out and she told him "give me a minute, drink water." But guess what, that wasn't working either! Hot tub isn't working, gym is closed, and the door to the pool didn't open correctly when scanned--one of the guys trying to get in had to scan it 11 times before it finally opened. The exterior doors have scanners to get in but no handles so you can only come in the front door but there is limited parking near the front so you have to park in the back and walk around the building. The pool is old but the water temp was nice--BUT the pool had trash floating all in it, there were no clean towels and there were dirty towels all over all the pool furniture, the floor, and even floating in the pool and got tub. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were small and flattened as soon as you went to use them. Our shower was weird--it kept making this loud high pitched squeal that it would alternate with a loud thumping noise (tried to post a video but it wouldn't let me). When the noise would change, the water would go ice cold then back to scalding hot. The rooms around us were loud--TV noise, people walking/talking loudly. In the elevator there was a spilled beer can--instead of cleaning it up they just put a wet floor sign over the can. It was there when we checked in at night and still there when we checked out the next day. This hotel is THE WORST. This is the only hotel that I have ever reached out to corporate about.

I had a two-day prepaid stay and it was awful, so much so that I left after the first night (about 12 hours based on my late check-in). There were ants in the room, including on the bed, loose floor tile in the bathroom and unpainted caulking repairs in the room. The manager thought my concerns were not reasonable to give a refund for the unused second night, so poor customer service to add to it. Do not compromise your safety or comfort to save a few dollars, because you'll come out with a loss in other ways.

Cheery, incompetent staff. Mildew smell throughout. I have never been charged a pet fee at a La Quinta franchise, yet here I am bilked out of twenty dollars. Was given a key to a filthy room.I am dreading my stay.

Horrible service, booked on a travel agency website. Didn't receive a room or room key. Manager on duty checked me in took my money but then decided to let me know that they were overbooked.

Double charged me after telling me twice that it would be corrected. Then they flat out lied about my check out time to hotels.com when they attempted to mediate the dispute.They are also directly adjacent to a crack hotel. Some weaker tried to follow us in.I am staying at a different La Quinta now. Much more professional and capable, apparently.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, I did not read reviews before booking- oops on my part, but heed the multiple warnings that have been left here. As soon as we pulled up, I knew we were in a sketchy part of town. From the hotels next door to the trash EVERYWHERE, it's instantly very questionable. Although my initial impression was bad, I proceeded to go inside. The lobby was clean-ish, but neither of the desk staff greeted me and one was arguing with a guest that was requesting more towels. Once checked in, we ended up on the elevator with another hotel guest that was a pretty obvious drug user, he had no shirt or shoes on, and was walking around the lobby of the hotel acting rather odd. When we walked in our room, it was HOT, the comforter had blood on it, the room had not been vacuumed in who knows when, there was trash along the edges of the walls, the handle on one of the nightstands was broken and hanging down, the shower and toilet were dirty, and the mattress felt like it was 20 years old and worn out. I made the decision pretty quickly that we would not be staying and I informed the front desk of such. According to the assistant manager, he did me a favor by only charging me for one night, rather than the two that I had originally booked, even though we only stayed there for 10 minutes. He acted very surprised by my observations but management has to be VERY aware that these issues are going on. They ABSOLUTELY know that this is a drug user hotel because they allow it. Unless you too are a drug abuser, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

The room was filthy. Bed was stained and had pubic hair on it and the toilet had ashes from a cigarette in it. There was also vomit on the floor in a common area (it had obviously been there a while). Do not waste your time or money here.
