La Baguette Bistro

First and foremost thank you La Baguette for helping my wife and I have one of the very best Valentines evenings out we have had in a long time. The atmosphere was palpable on Friday night, everyone was happy. The patrons, the servers, all other staff...a perfect environment, along with the decor. Our dinner was spectacular. The pecan encrusted trout was really well prepared and delicious. I had the steak poivre with scallops, asparagus and potatoes. All delicious and perfectly cooked! We got lucky and had some of the chocolate mousse cake and chocolate covered strawberries, both great as well. I appreciate the behind the scenes effort, and accommodations with the flowers. My wife loved them and was very surprised when we were seated. Kenny was kind and fun, we appreciate his taking care of us as well.

As an international traveling food critic and unbeknownst to the staff, the following is what I experienced:+ Outstanding service from Kenny H. He was kind, down to earth, extremely efficient with impeccable situational awareness. + Very comfortable atmosphere.+ Quality of food was exceptional high with nothing but the finest of meats, seafoods, and vegetables. If you are in the area and don't take the time to dine here, you missed out on a fine experience.

Very nice, warm atmosphere, and the staff are always top-notch.Today, I got the rack of lamb. Most tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked lamb I've had - and I've had quite a bit.Also tried the tiramisu..... beautifully balanced, and texture is spot on.Definitely, two things you must try!!!

We love this place! It's a place with fantastic memories for us, and I wish we had a "regular table" here. The food is always amazing, as is the service. And then there's the bakery..... man oh man.

OK - this place is pretty awesome and I'm shocked I didn't know about it before: a very authentic French Bistro, connected to a Bakery/Patisserie, Market and Wine Shop - all in the same building/plaza. Their breakfast selections are amazing and I got a spinach and bacon crepe and also the smoked salmon Jolla India's e dish, with a bowl of fruit as well. Exceptional service from the waiter as well. Highly, highly recommended and a place not to be missed in OKC!

I have not been to this restaurant for more than 5 years, their decorations are still the same, prices are not that much higher with inflation.They give a very generous amount of bread and butter, they taste very fresh, I wish it is house butter instead of prepackaged ones.The Rockefeller oysters have good flavor, they have small oysters, personally I prefer larger oysters with this dish. Foie gras is good with jam, I just wish there is more jam. I love my mixed seafood with jasmine rice, which hits my spot. They cooked shrimps to perfection.Their dessert selection is from their bakery there, we ordered napoleon, which was $9, but it is only $5 in the bakery, so there is a up charge. Be aware.All in all, this restaurant is still great. Ambience: 9/10Food: 8/10Price: 9/10Service: 10/10

Everything my husband and I ate from here was fabulous. He had the French dip on a baguette and I had a pecan chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The dressings for our salads were fresh and delicious with homemade baguette croutons on top. The quality of the meats was top notch and my husband said his baguette was crispy on the outside, soft inside, exactly as it should be! The service was wonderful, we will definitely be back for dinner at some point. The desserts are divine. We got them to go from the bakery, my favorite was the Italian cream cake. Everything was rich and creamy, not dry at all. The tiramisu was the perfect size. I love that you can buy fresh baguettes there as well as order whole cakes at various sizes. I look forward to when I am not pregnant and I can come back to try their wine as well because they have a large selection.

My husband and I have the same birthday and we stopped in last night to buy two slices of chocolate cake to go to take to the lake and watch the sunset. Wow. Wow. Wow. Best cake ever. We can't wait to try the entire menu. Please open a location in Cedar Park or Leander TX. We need you down there.

Anything I have had from here whether it is savory or sweet has been amazing. If you need a quick sweet treat, then this is the place to go or even if you have a party I need a fantastic cake. This is also the place to go. They have fresh bread and some local products. Also available to buy. The main restaurant area is low, lighting and kind of on the fancy side.

This cute place is tucked away on May Ave. Recommended by a friend. Service was great. The food tasted amazing. The restaurant was cute and comfortable! Would recommend!
